You'd be surprised. Many years ago, I was head of housekeeping at a luxury hotel chain in the south eastern US. One day I was talking to one of the heavyset black ladies who worked in the laundry room and the subject of our favorite TV shows came up. Hers was "Are You Being Served?" I only mention her size and color because it speaks to the old maxim - "Never judge a book by its cover". I know I never would have guessed her favorite show without the chat we had.

I’m only half way through. He’s on the wall, 1980s upgrade. In so much pain from laughing and tears pouring down my face 😂 - I’m having a break to recover and recuperate. We used to get this show here in Australia, it’s brilliantly hysterical😂 but haven’t seen it for years. Not everyone in USA gets British humour but in Aus I grew up with so much of it. The Brits are brilliant at comedy 👍. I’ll be back to watch the rest of it 😂😁😂😁

This has to be the best reaction I’ve seen and I’ve watched quite a lot of reactions to Karl. I’ve been watching all your Ricky Gervais show reactions and some of the XFM stuff and you just make them even more funny, love seeing you laugh 😂

I’ve asked my son to watch you watching his favourite man Karl but he said ok, wasn’t sure he meant it. Him and his missus have just watched you on a loop, An Idiot Abroad, all 3 series, told them there is so much more of the Pilkington saga to come , they just had a baby, my first grandchild 4 weeks ago, and when baby is asleep they have to hide their crying with laughter at you and your reactions. Bloody wonderful, Josh your amazing x

Hey I don’t wanna seem condescending, but look into bats and the diseases they carry, SARS is literally an example of the same type of virus. And it’s not to do specifically with the animal, but the conditions under how the animal was killed, cooked etc
