Overconfidence got the best of me in this situation, I wanted to talk about it so that it can be a teaching lesson to new riders and people who are thinking about becoming a rider. Enjoy #z650

Had a similar experience on taking a somehwat sharp turn and couldnt guage or see the corner but split the signs and rode off into the dirt on the interstate. Didnt lay it down or panick. Brought it to a stop looked around, checked my blind spot and got back on the off ramp.

If it was a flat section of ground I would have been find but between mud and how it was shaped the bike wanted to take a nap

I’m a new rider and this vid helped me a lot understand the reality check you get when you try to ride outside your skill level thanks for the vid bro 🤙🏼

When in doubt, downshift while braking smoothly. Don’t rely on just the brakes, the transmission/clutch can also be used as a brake.

Good topic for a video. I think a lot of people have been through it, and shy away from it, because they're embarrassed their "bro's" will think less. Though we keep practicing, and we only get better!

I was embarrassed but it’s best for people to see the reality of riding especially when you are new

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the crash. Its humbling and seems like you learned from it. Have you tried some of the motojitsu drills? Those have helped me get better and more confident.

My take is too much speed on any bike can get ya, however these bikes have their limits when it comes to handling.
