I would like to point out to the audience that this video does NOT claim that Shiny Gimmighoul is impossible to have already caught* prior to the upcoming event. I enjoy reading all the comments about people's own Shiny Gimmighouls and Gholdengos, though, there's some interesting stories in there! They changed the Tera Pikachu raid to make it so this one is fixed to be standard size as opposed to the one from Pokémon Day that had the chance of being Jumbo, so here's to hoping they'll fix Gimmighoul's shiny rates for the upcoming event!

In gen 8 there were a few special raid events where they had base odds, but 1/100 raids generated would always have a shiny. Hopefully they do something similar for Gimmighoul

The last gimmeghoul raid event, I caught a shiny ggimmeghoul, and didn’t realise until a couple months ago

I think dudunsparce three segment is truly the most rare shiny,because dunsparce has 1% chance to evolve into the three segment dudunsparce + you have to farm SO much shiny dunsparce,and isnt that easy

I would disagree, since not only can you influence Dunsparce's shiny rate through sandwiches and the Shiny Charm, but it's also free to farm at any time. Shiny Gimmighoul, on the other hand, has a fixed rate that cannot be influenced, and prior to the new event, has only been available for a limited time. Thank you for the comment!

2:16 Can't you catch a Goomy with the Destiny Mark in Scarlet / Violet normally and then evolve it in Legends: Arceus?

Manaphy is more difficult to find

This is specifically the rarest shiny in Scarlet and Violet, but even then, there's an argument to be made that Shiny Manaphy can still be hunted (and RNG manipulated) whereas Shiny Gimmighoul was only available for a short time, and cannot be RNG manipulated. Thank you for the comment!

I actually caught a shiny gimmighoul, and have been using my shiny lvl 100 gholdengo for the last several months… used it in almost every DLC battle as I was training it up to lvl 100 😂

Same here. Don't u love how ppl talk about shiny pokemon in videos or make videos about shiny hunting, and yet leave those two pokemon out because they're " shiny locked" only for us to have them completely legal :)

I did not expect the Mass Outbreaks to boost shiny odds as much as they did😂 In the whole time I'd had Violet I've caught 15 shinies. But today I caught 11 Shiny Alolan Richus and 12 other shinies from the Outbreaks. 😅 That means that 23/38 of my S/V shinies are from part 1 of this event...

As I understood it, on mass outbreak events that specifically states that Pokemon have a higher chance to be shiny, the shiny odds are changed to a flat 1%, which is huge compared to regular rates.
