Thank you for this video. Your cross out basics Videos of help me out a bunch. Can I tell you the thing that I have figured out about the market. From Friday to Sunday there is a lot of people playing who want to sell stuff right now so the market goes down. I often wait till I have 3000 badges in order to get a Pathfinders container. If you sell one of those on the weekend they go a little bit over $800 but the cost steadily goes up during the week so you can get about $30 more by most Thursdays.

Making an effective leviathan is a real challenge in this game and it's something I have only worked on a few times. So early on I decided to focus on how to beat them instead of joining them and that ended up being one of my first videos on this channel.

For me, I just craft to make profit. The market is way too unpredictable and time consuming for me. The prices of items are always changing and the profit I make from it isn't that great either.

That's understandable. I will say though, sometimes the resources used in crafting are worth MORE than the item itself, so you might actually be losing out on extra coins from selling each resource individually. 🤷

@@Brale-hz1yv Stickers and Decor items can be difficult to sell. I would look for items that have a high amount of BUY OFFERS like 50 or more. That means there is a high demand for that item and you will likely be able to sell it for a good profit. If there are less than 10 or no BUY OFFERS at all, then you will have a much harder chance at selling your item.

if the lowest price someone sells something for is as the vector for example (55 coins) and the highest someone is willing to buy it for is 46, then how does that thing get sold? i really dont understand

It comes down to the player that doesn't want to wait any longer. If you want to buy the Vector right now, then you would post a bid for 55 coins and it would be sold to you. On the other hand, if a player that is selling the vector for 55 coins doesn't want to wait any longer, they could go back and edit their bid for 46 coins and now their Vector would be sold right away. The more patient you are, the better deal you will get. Either you post a bid for a Vector at 46 coins and wait for an owner to budge, or you just give up waiting and buy it right now for 55.

I don't understand why someone would sell me something for less than what other people are willing to pay... am I missing something? If I'm selling a cabin and the most someone is willing to pay is 100, then why would I even bother with the people bidding for a lower price? And vice versa, why would they sell me a cabin for 70 when people are buying it at 100?

Great question! I think it's because the Market makes it confusing. When you see the left side BUY button and the top price above it shows 100 coins, that is actually someone who already owns that cabin and is trying to sell it (SELL ORDERS). Then, on the right side you see the SELL button and above it shows 70 coins, that is actually someone who is looking to buy that cabin. (BUY ORDERS). It makes players think they are getting the best deal, when in reality they should be BUYING a cabin for 70 coins or SELLING it for 100.

Oh man, I dunno. 😂 It really depends on a number of factors. Obviously, you would want things like better Weapons and Cabins, but you should also save up for Generators, since they open up a lot more possibilities. I would also recommend getting the Maxwell and Doppler Radar, their perks benefit your entire team.

Apollo generator, I just got one last week and it unlocks the ability to make alot more builds and not to mention the ability to make meta builds, and it's something you will keep forever and won't get sick of it and sell

I would suggest you use that coin to make profit as shown in the video. More coins is always better. I woudnt suggest you buy a apollo because it just doesnt give you more variety. You just get 1 more energy compared to the gas gen and your gameplay is still the same after that. Its better to expand your inventory with new weapons and modules or even tracks/wheels to to make new builds.

@@TheRandomASDF gameplay is not the same,you need a Apollo to make some builds that you can't make with a gas gen, like the 4 trigger build I am currently using, the only way to make this build is with a Apollo, the only way to run 4 weapons that cost 4 energy is with a Apollo, a gas gen doesn't do it so that 1 extra energy compared to the gas gen is well worth it and does add more variety

Imo, it's worth spending a little money on a premium subscription. You will earn 40 coins a day just from playing the game, and it will increase the rate at which you level up.

I do think it's possible to enjoy this game without paying, but you can also spend $5 or $10 bucks which can earn you enough to get a good amount of parts to choose from. I don't see this game as a straight forward P2W. Yes, there are items that are powerful and cost a lot to craft, but that doesn't guarantee you will be winning more games. I see it as, "pay if you want access to more items now".

if an items graph looks like its sloping down should i not invest in it? The gun mount wheel has a decent ROI rate but average prices have gone down by almost 20 coins in the last 2 weeks. Also, should I not buy/sell multiple of the same items at once?

Well your goal is to buy low and sell high. So if a graph is sloping down then it's a great time to buy. Then wait until the graph starts creeping back up so you can sell high and get the most profit. As long as you have the funds, buying multiples of the same item should work the same way. 🙂

Usually it's players that are impatient. That's how the market works, if you want an item now then you have to pay the top price for it. Otherwise, you wait to get a better deal.

Well, you unlock the market once you reach Level 8 with the Engineers Faction, and from there you will have access to all rarity of items. However, if you are looking to "craft" Legendary or Relic items, then you would need to check the orange crafting tab within the Engineers Faction. This will show you what's required to unlock the various items listed. I hope that helps. 🤷

I haven't tracked the market for some time now, but anything with a 10% or above ROI is what I would go for. With price corridors in place you really can't take out huge profits but if you enjoy flipping and stick with it you can make some decent coins.

Yes! You can cancel without penalty. Just go to the Market tab, then My Offers tab. You should be able to right click and then cancel your offer.

The crafting section, the flipping section, the salvager page, the item sniper... Too bad we have to read the market manually on console. It's a good thing that they added a ROI column in the last years - but unreal bids made by people always fuck that sorting order. Decorations and paintings always have enormous buy-sell price ranges.

That sounds normal. You should only see the top buy and sell offers on the trade screen. If you click on the buy button and use the left and right arrows you will be able to see the price corridor.

As a returning player your guide has helped me make over 1800 in coins, but currently farming to get thunderbolts. I'm not sure if they have the discount weekends like they used too,but if they do it's way cheaper to buy rare materials like plastic 1000 part wires ect. Copper is pretty easy to get through raids, Same with scrap metal. But the overall market really relies on the parts available through packs as players who do actually buy packs flood the market with cheap weapons so usually there's occasionally a purple part selling for low 300-500 range where as normally such parts sky rocket in price mid week to 600- 1000 Most common example are crickets or the ice box cabin if your lucky.

@@TCS23 I ran quad Arbiters and Master Jack for his minigun perks, had 4 drivers maxed out at level 15. All those resources are seemingly gone now as there's not much in the new drivers that suits the minigun builds. I'd have preferred to spend the tens of thousands of electronics, copper, wires etc on building weapons or selling on the market but now it just feels like it's all been wasted. Played since not long after beta so it's sad to walk away but I'm just not willing to invest time to grind for something that will probably be taken away in the future during another "rework". Good luck mate, I hope it doesn't scare away too many players and eviscerate the playerbase.

@@carriewilson1006It’s more like Pay to skip the grind, because the amount of money you have to spend in order to get anywhere is exorbitant. Nearly 100$+ per completed build you want to do, or, more than that. Specially for the higher weapons, cabs, modules. Etc. Then you need to learn how to play with those weapons, and modules. You can buy quality, but not the experience needed to use it. Crossout, rewards your very slowly but linearly. The more you play; obviously, the better you are!

@@TCS23 honestly this video made it more confusing than not xd. I just don't understand how you are supposed to make profit. Why would someone buy your item when you're selling it for higher than someone else? Or how are you supposed to buy low when the quick buy order is lowest?

@@dazeen9591 Try to think of it this way: If you want to buy an item that you don't have, there are two prices you should know about: 1) Sell Offers (players who own the item) 2) Buy Offers (players who want the item) The posted Sell Offers are the lowest of the other Sellers but this is NOT the lowest price you can actually get. Choosing this option as a Buyer is considered a "QUICK BUY" because you get the item NOW, but the problem is that you are accepting the Sellers price which is HIGHER than what most other Buyers are willing to pay. The posted Buy Offers are the highest of the other Buyers but still much LOWER than the current Sell Offers. When you post the highest Buy Offer and a Seller accepts it, this would be considered a "QUICK SELL" on his part because although he gets his money NOW, he is accepting the Buyers price which is much LOWER than what most other Sellers are willing to offer. So, like I mentioned in the video: If you want to Buy, look to the right. If you want to Sell, look below the money belt or in other words, to the left hand side.

@@TCS23 I understand that part but the buyer prices won't drop for my order to go through if there's 70 people trying to pay more for it. Same for sell orders. No one's going to sell me the item I want to flip for less than the other 70 people are willing to pay for it. Even if I wait a month my transactions won't go through due to new listings. I don't understand how anyone can make meaningful profit doing this. Few coins don't matter since it's time wasted. I could get more coins in that time by just playing instead than looking for flips. And bigger profits aren't feasible. No way I'm gonna start making 1000 coins a week with trading like other people claim is possible. Like maybe if you monopolize high tier items but at that point you need to already have like 50 000 coins to control the market.

@@dazeen9591 Well, it's true that you're not going to make a fortune anytime soon. The Market has been nerfed in a way that makes those large gains impossible now. It's more of a passive income than anything else. When you hop on to play just post a few bids for items and then once you get them you turn around and sell them for a little extra profit. Or just don't bother with the market if that's not interesting enough.

You should always try to minimize your power score. Playing with more powerful weapons is fun but you need to keep in mind the enemies you are fighting will have better weapons. Min-Max everything and you can get a very powerful vehicle for a low PS. Raising the Powerscore shouldnt be the ultimate goal unless you want to play in clan wars.

No mention of crossoutdb in a market guide? yikes. While flipping items can earn you a profit, more often than not you'll be losing money. If you want to earn gold fast you need to craft items, and more specifically craft battlepass items. E.I. currently you can craft and sell a kami for a profit of around 500 gold... by the way you should use crossoutdb so you don't end up selling specials for under 150 gold again... the crafting cost is 130~140 gold.

While I really enjoy playing Crossout, the way the market is set up can be very confusing. I wish they would rearrange the trade screen properly.
