Another Australian fan drooling over such an awesome rig! There is no better build on the planet to date, and absolutely nothing I would change! Absolutely love it!! Everything American in Australia costs over 50% more most of the time, making builds like this impossible sadly. This is the ultimate build. The Jk body, the best diesel, portal axles and all the rest. Absolutely perfect Rig. On behalf of every off road enthusiast worldwide, please build another!

I live in Australia and this truck is so awesome I actually based my SCX10 RC Rock crawler build off of this truck, the Cummins is amazing, I love this engine, I would love to do a conversion into my GU Nissan Patrol. This would be my dream truck hands down, but sadly Australia has similar laws to Nazi Germany when it comes to cars and we can't have anything over a 6 inch lift with a full engineering cert too, it's ridiculous, I love the USA for it's tuff 4wd's, thanks for such an awesome video walk around of my favourite offroad vehicle Martin and may the that beautiful 6BT sing many songs to it's new owner.

David (The guy who bought it in DR) bought this rig to off road the SHIT out of it. The DR hosts some of the toughest off road events on the planet, there is a reason he bought this over everything else on the market. So as for those of you who think this is a purposeless piece of junk you have no idea what you're talking about. This jeep is top of the line at every corner and yes he can afford this because he OWNS MBRP crazy what hard work can do huh? People hating on him because he can afford the best of the best and you can barely afford 33's for your rust bucket... maybe if you quit bitching about his life and got on with your own maybe you'd have a fraction of what he has. AWESOME BUILD Martin congrats! RattleTrap will be missed by all of us in the Jeep community and we are looking forward to seeing what David has in store for it! Thanks!

How bad are the roads in the Dominican Republic? all jokes aside, very nice build!
@ohaisean10 жыл бұрын
Depending where you are, but for the most part, the Dominican is all dirt, mud, and mountain roads. Vacationed there several times and Jeep / ATV tours are extremely popular. Settled in the touristy areas by many French, they are making loads of money. This is probably an excursion company owners... just a shot in the dark.

You guys are great! What was the negotiable price set on? I actually spoke to you in the beginning of the year about the suspension parts on the phone very helpful. first would it be better to have the jeep built by your company then to farm out and hunt for the parts. which cost factor would be better If you were starting with just a stock jeep and stock motor. what would the price be with the cummins insulted? I'm sure everyone is wondering If someone was to do this project in stages including the body stretching. I hope that everything is something anyone is able to buy and will be manufactured and not just one off's like when the project was started in its experimental stages. Im looking forward to another Jeep built. If possible If you would have a price layout of parts and installation cost next to it would really be a wonderful factor for many new clients.

@danielllamas765810 жыл бұрын
How come they went with twin turbo instead of charging it? Would the super charger not be more beneficial for offroading? With the twin turbo and nos, it seems like they are going for high speeds instead.
@travisxxx2310 жыл бұрын
Turbochargers are a lot more common on Diesel engines. There are a lot more turbo kits for diesels than their are superchargers. Besides most diesels you buy now are all turbocharged. A supercharger for a diesel would be completely custom.

Hey @MBRP roughly how much was is to Line-X a JKU?
@nicktrubetskoy308710 жыл бұрын
hi, this guy Martin Barkey said its painted with "lines" i looked it up and it seems to be a spray of some sort for your truck. Can someone please explain how he got that texture on the car along with the paint? please explain
@ExpectMoore10 жыл бұрын
Line-X is a spray with the purpose of coating truck beds so that they last longer and look better when things are thrown around in them. It actually comes in a few different textures, but this Jeep looks like it has the standard texture, which I believe is slightly rough, although I've never had anything Line-X'd before. As for how it was done, they just used a high-grade sprayer and sprayed over the paint itself. I think Rattletrap looks amazing like this! Hope that helped!
