Cool. Hulk 118 was actually the first Hulk comic book I ever bought as a kid. Got it to read on the plane when we were flying to Ohio to visit family. Read it over and over again and even cut out the coupon to order the Submarine. Book is pretty worthless now, but I still have it. I've since replaced it with a better condition issue, and have even completed my run of the Hulk vol 1 & 2, but my original 118 is still special to me.

Great comic all around! Now you just need to crack it out of that plastic coffin, unless you have already. It will look much better in mylar with a full back backing board, plus you can read it, look at the advertisements, read the letters page and bullpen bulletins page.....smell it....etc. 😛

Very nice book. Congratulations! I always enjoy seeing how excited you are to open the packages. When I was a kid, I purchased the "Origins of Marvel Comics" book by Stan Lee. This book showed the origin stories of several heroes via reprints of the book in which their origin appeared (i.e., Amazing Fantasy 15 for Spider-man). Each of the origin stories was followed with a more modern reprinted comic for that character. In Hulk's case, the book reprinted Hulk 118 after Hulk 1. After seeing the reprint of Hulk 118 with its beautiful artwork, I always looked for a back issue of it at my local comic shop so I could own an original. I never found one. Fast forward 40+ years later when I returned to the hobby--with back issues easier to obtain via the internet, and I was able to get a beautiful raw copy that looks to be 9.0 to 9.2. Keys are in the eye of the beholder.

Karen, you're being FAR too kind, but thank you. I can honestly say that you are the only KZbinr who puts a smile on my face as soon as you begin speaking. The look of excitement and enthusiasm on your face every time you pull out whatever is inside your packages during your unboxings, is SO genuine, I can't help but smile along and be excited for you. Just keep being you and people will eventually find your channel won't be able to resist watching. Special shout out for pronouncing Herb's last name correctly, by the way! Yes, there are countless comics which can be had more cheaply than original art pages, but as you've clearly already noticed, space issues are a real concern when it comes to comics, whereas 400 original art pages neatly stored in portfolios can fit within a small rectangular area of approx. 12" x 18" x 8". If you ever end up wondering why so many of us original art collectors only collect the art, there are several common reasons, but space ends up being a major one eventually. But I do love that you like displaying your comics rather than looking at them for a couple of minutes and then filing them away in covered boxes like most comics buyers do. Great video! 👍

@@KarensPages Whoa, whoa, whoa! I didn't say I had 400 pages, I just said that you could have approximately that many pages, placed in portfolios, and they would only take up that much space! Having said that, I do have multiple friends who own several thousand apiece! Don't feel intimidated though, just buy whatever pages you can afford that make YOU happy, and that's all that matters.
