I enjoyed this video. There is a popular comic book KZbinr who collects Okajima pedigrees but only those collected during her internment. My boss was interned in one of the camps when he was 11 and was the same age as my mother so I did a deep dive into the Okajima Pedigrees and also came across some of the things you discovered including the dates Bette was interned. He had the wrong years so some of his purchases were outside 1942-43. I informed him of the discrepancy twice but found he had deleted my comments with no explanation. Sadly I decided to unsubscribe from his channel because of this. Thank you for confirming my findings on this.

Great video! On the subject of different spellings, it's mostly a preference (either from the self or parents). If they were born in the USA, it's a little baffling why would the parents go with different spellings (maybe the kids were the ones that changed). The way non-western names are Romanized is also subject to change, i.e Alexey, Aleksei and Alexei are all valid romanizations of the same name.

My favorites are probably (from the original series) the Shockwave "All Are Dead" cover and the subsequent issue with all the dead Autobots. Granted, they were all repaired eventually but you honestly didn't know that at the time...

Hi Karen, came across your channel and have been watching your videos as a fellow comic art collector wanted to comment to since that Moon Knight page from #31 was actually consigned by me when I was looking to raise funds for a bigger buy. I think it was actually my second or third ever art purchase. Kinda regret selling it like most pieces but was happy to put the money from it towards another piece.

Yeah, new sub here as well, but Sticky Goose as a seller only, possibly but ComicTom is most definitely a seller, not a collector, other than maybe a few CGC keys. His knowledge seems rather limited but to be fair, you cannot know everything and based on his age, cannot expect to know much beyond the keys from certain era's. But he is a Schill, there is little doubt to that. He down right refuses to call out Disney for the crap they are constantly producing and had the audacity to say that Madame Web was "not that bad". For a channel with less than 70K subscribers, he seems to get a lot of access. I do like the top 10 trending, but I cringe every time he starts talking about comics and movies because I know someone is paying him to say it.

I think you should do the channel because you enjoy the hobby and talking about it. The icing on the cake is when you have people tune into your channel because they share the same hobby as you do.

I mean, does it really matter? Do and show what you want to show on your channel, people will either watch or they won't. When KZbinrs create content that they don't feel passion for, it really shows through and people stop watching anyway.

I appreciate your videos you cover a wide range of subjects in the comic genre from Golden to Bronze Age comics, comic art, comic history :( e.g. Okajima Collection), etc. You are a collector and do not focus on speculating on comic which many do. Furthermore, you have a nice demeanor. You are not loud-screaming or shouting like some hosts. I hope you and your family went to Nihon.

I wouldn’t mind him, he’s just poking everyone to cause a reaction and if you put too much into it. At the end of the day. They have reaction videos regarding everything so just have to except & understand him . I’m watching yeah boy ❤
