Thanks for the ride. My dad had a 46 Chief he wouldn't let me restore, so I got a 741 ($6,500 barn fresh) and restored it. Pop asked how much I paid for it? Never told him. He said in 49 there were 100s of them for $25.00,I asked why didn't you buy a few? He said idiots like you bought them, NO REAR SUSPENTION! Who would want to ride on that all day, might as well ride a Harley! Mom said guys would buy them and play motorcycle soccer on them in NE Philly where the farmers were growing potatoes. LOL! at least till the cops showed up. Good clean fun. Thanks to Bob's Indian in Etters, Pa., without Robins help the resto would have taken forever. I even won a car show with my 741. Only bike there, and everyone said the trophy was mine. Love your Klaxton Horn! Jealous you have a 841, Indian was so far ahead of everyone, but BMW during WWII. Post war they should have sold the 841's Thanks again,WB
