When Jinshi cried against Maomao's shoulder in the last week's episode, I realized that he wasn't crying just because of the difficult relationship between him and his mother. Jinshi's emotional breakdown can also be attributed to the fact that managing the entire palace at such young age is incredibly taxing. There's only so much burden one can take before breaking. Maomao is the only person Jinshi is not afraid to show his vulnerable side to.

Gaochun sabia que Maomao havia retornado ao Distrito do Prazer. Ele entrou em contato com Lihaku um oficial que ja havia estado na Casa Verdegris. Lihaku falou para oficiais superiores e em condições financeiras de bancar uma festa com as tres princesas da Casa Verdegris com o unico proposito de reunir Jinshi e Maomao mais uma vez. Gaochum não suportava mais a depressão de Jinshi pela perda de Maomao e daí teve essa ideia.
