Looks good! Not a weekday recipe, messing with creating sauces. But that’s okay, since I tend too cook dinner on the weekends. I may try to figure out a dump and go, or prep in morning, and just have casserole available to chuck into the oven while running kids, or whatever while it bakes.

Love Mandy's creativity. I feel like we get so many different techniques with her in each video. I have done the blended apple as a background sauce for Galbi jim and it is so wonderful. It adds sweetness, umami, and brightness without the calories. Thank you Mandy for staying with us.

Pork and apple is a classic combination. Asian cuisine often features pork as a default protein, so that apple puree makes sense. A green bechamel with fish sauce, Mandy stays on another level. Another inspired dish!

So I made this last week, and I am not familiar with Korean cooking at all, so I have no idea if I succeeded taste-wise but it was delicious. So I'm curious as to where I would go from here on. What would they call this in Korea (I'm guessing they don't call it a lasagna)? Could you recommend me other Korean dishes that use this flavor palette?
