My biggest study tip is to record your lectures. It honestly is such a game changer to be able and go back and hear EXACTLY how your professor explained it.

for anatomy I print out diagrams (usually the structures that I can never remember) and tape them around my room, on the fridge, etc. so you can learn them and think back to where they physically were on the test. I also love using powerpoint to label the structures a-e and then have the answers on the next slide to quiz myself :) good luck on your finals!

Writing out notes really works. It takes a long time to write it out, but the motor action of writing imprints the knowledge into our brains. Once I was in front of 35 teachers about to give a lecture, when I realized I left my notes at home. But because I had written them out, my brain could visualize each note. When I got home to check my notes, my brain had not forgotten a single thing. Our brains are pretty impressive.

I study for highschool tests the exact same way and I know exactly what you mean by the mental picture of your notes. Handwriting out all the information in one spot really helps organize all the information I’ve learned over a unit into one spot, then when I’m taking a test and need to remember something its almost like I jump to the spot in the notes and recall what I wrote! I really like as a college youtuber you do talk about the school part of it:))

I usually take notes in class write them out on my laptop and simplify them read it again and simplify it even more if possible and i use a lot of colors. Helps me remembering even more. I know taking notes is very time consuming. But if you do it right you can keep them for the whole year and years to come.

When I take notes for exams I copy every slide show and all my hand written notes all vocab LITERALLY EVERYTHING even if I know it. It is time consuming but by the time I’m finished I know everything I wrote and never look over it again

I organize my info on one piece of paper too and if i look long enough at it, i will memorize it. This way when i'm doing the exam it's like i'm seeing a projection of that page next to the exam paper tham i'm writing on. It's like a projection on the screen haha
