I found the camp truly transformative, and am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend this year. The gorgeous campus, incredible teachers, and engaging curriculum were just the beginning. I built new friendships and walked away with a deep sense of community and love for the piano. Huge thanks to Noah, Dominic, Sarah, Ben, and Lisa for putting together an amazing experience.

What a rare chance this was to connect with piano people and share/learn/grow with them. And so nice to see so many of the group in this video! I for one will be back.

This was two weeks of being with the nicest people on the planet. They were talented, too.

What skill level is needed to go?
@rogerward804718 күн бұрын
@@foodhead4677 There were people with little/some experience to advanced experience. Everyone was welcomed, really. In the two weeks I was there, I heard no one complain about another person's skills. Oh sure, we all complained about our own skills. The youngest, I think, was 15 and the oldest was 70+. The food was outstanding. Want to go now?

I attended the camp, and am playing at roughly Level 6 RCM. I was definitely one of the least experienced attendees, but I felt welcome and supported the entire time. There were parts of the curriculum and experience that were outside of my reach, but I still had the opportunity to learn at every moment. One of the most surprising but important parts of the experience was in developing strong friendships with a small student cohort I was assigned to. The teaching was also excellent. Every instructor met me where I was at, and I learned something new from every one of them. For example, Sarah gave me tremendous insight into how to apply technique more thoughtfully (and unlocked a piece I was having a difficult time with), and Dominic changed the way I approach and learn a new score. The most important part of the camp isn't your skill level, but your dedication to learning alongside other students.
