I really don't like Dire Straits but I watched a video on deceptively difficult songs on guitar and they broke down how the lead guitarist used a unique picking and fretting style to actually play the song correctly. Sultans of swing never impressed me until i read that then watched the live performance. It isn't as flashy as a master of puppets or through the fire and flames but the detail and technical skill is no less impressive. Reminds me of some of the finger style guitar work of youtubers like Luca Stricagnoli that i've been bingewatching lately.

You've got to check out Rammstein. They are a German metal band. When you watch them you've got to watch their live performance they put on a great show. A few songs to check out to get you started Du Hast, Feuer Frei or Mein Herz Brennt.
