A wonderful video. In truth I could never get my head round Milton Erickson's approach when I read his articles, he was a genius but I couldn't figure out how he knew what to do. So eventually I gave up and started to read the work of Ericksonians instead. Bill came out in front of all of them in terms of getting to the essence of Erickson or at least as near to that as possible. His class of problems-class of solutions-using an resourceful context to evoke approach was a marvellous insight into how Erickson knew which approach to use for clients. I doubt I'll ever figure out Erickson but I don't really care because I have Bill O'Hanlon's genius instead which is quite explicit and learnable.
