Lek ! You'd got me ! Now my eyes and my heart are opened. Growing up in Thailand for all those years, I had no idea that elephants were abused. From now on I'll spread the news to everyone I talk to about no riding, no supporting elephant circus etc and I'll try to do more for them.

I would suggest that you email an elephant rescue group (or wildlife conservation group) in Sri Lanka, or if you don't know of one, that you email ENP/SEF to ask if they know of one near there, and that you want to see those elephants rescued. You can write them via their websites, at either Elephant Nature Park (org) or Save Elephant (org) Foundation website, at their 'Contact Us' page.

Lek is truly an angel on earth. She is one of the most remarkable human beings I have ever heard of. She's right, the world is full of hateful, evil people and I am one of those people that would much rather surround myself with animals, rather than spent time with other human beings. I feel a strong kinship with her and would love to come volunteer with her there at the sanctuary. But, unfortunately, I live in the United States and could never afford to make that trip to Thailand. My deepest gratitude goes out to her and all of those remarkable volunteers that work tirelessly every day to ensure those beautiful creatures are well taken care of, and live a life free of torture. May God bless all the amazing people that volunteer their time, and donate money to help support such a worthy cause. 🙏🫂❤️🐘
