Holy breath of fresh air...I have seen Genesis with Phil and Chester on the 'We Can't Dance" Tour and Phil's "Both Sides" Tour, and was amazed back in the day. It's heart-breaking to age, and to see your idols age, but this kid seems to have a firm grasp on what his father's fans hold dear, and his respect for them and the music is very apparent. And, as a drummer, I can hear the echoes of Phil in his playing but Nic still has his own style, and I can't think of a more qualified successor. Rock on, young man.

Kyle... wow -where to begin! Fantastic inside interview, your second career is obvious haha This is great... the knowledge, pleasure, and insight gained in the last 36 minutes is incredible I need another look. Also, I’m positive you were loving this big time as well! Great tidbits into some of our favorite tracks with Nick sneaking in some of his own licks while compensating for 1 less drummer...then, when we learn the entire (UPCOMING) show was not only scripted but rehearsed, perfected, and frikkin’ filmed haha I nearly dropped the bong! 😀 Fun to learn more about his band and yeah if he can get this genesis thingy out of the way then they can finally tour, too funny... thanks for this great documentary, Kyle! It’s probably safe to say that, if Nick has a son, he’ll be one helluva drummer. ‘Best to you! (edit typo)

What? Why didn't you tell me? Nah, i'm just kidding, glad i found this! Thanks! Edit: Now that i have more information about the setlist (i'm going to keep quiet) i have to say, i don't understand how everything fits in 2 hours?? Is it going to be Medley mania or something? It has to be atleast 2 and a half hours, its weird. Edit2: I would like to be interviewed, it would be interesting, but idk how to do live stuff, or atleast it never works fine... maybe i should interview myself for my channel's 10th anniversary, yeah, that's a good idea, thanks for the inspiration and ofcourse thanks for doing this interview to Nic, those were very good questions!

@@phenixreturns I checked, i'm not familiar with the french language, and also i'm not a big Phil Collins fan, mostly Genesis and Tony Banks. I have to say, my native language is spanish but i have been using youtube so i can better my speaking skills as well as doing some dumb shitposts, so idk, its hard for me to follow certain Genesis channels unless they solely focus on that, but no one wants to do that, not even me (i upload videogame stuff from time to time) because you can't live out of just one thing, but i'm still squeezing the Genesis lemon constantly because i'm a dumbass that has many weird ideas, and i still have new ideas... i haven't even done piano covers yet, wich is what people normally do when a channel its about a band.

The Genesis concert on November 22, 2021 in Montreal was excellent. I had high hopes that they would play In the Air Tonight but no go. Does anyone know why they did not include it in The Domino Tour? BTW - Nic was absolutely awesome in this concert.

@@KyleDavisMusic I don't want to make this about Phil, but I would be totally dishonest if I didn't lead off by saying that Phil has been a hero and an inspiration for the past 35 of my 45 years. So may stories for other times. I've been watching Nic play for a few years now. I love the way he takes his dads music and plays it in his own way. He doesn't go out of his way to sound original, but he plays just a tick different and a tad out of place. Nothing wrong with that, and I appreciate him for it. I truly hope to see Genesis come to North America next year so I can finally see Nic play live. Awesome interview and congrats to Kyle and Nic! some new hero's in my musical life!!!
