Bristol cars have recently been taken over by Jason Wharton an Essex property developer and Bristol car enthusiast. He is opening a new factory at Filton near Bristols original one and planning to release re engineered versions of the 2 seater Fighter, and 4 seater 411 next year, 2022. Let's hope this is a successful enterprise that puts Bristol back into full production with a bright longterm future.

Alas, scepticism is always needed in such cases. I wish it were otherwise.

Sadly those plans are canceled. in their 65 years of operation, Bristol made less than 3000 cars... incredible exclusivity

Imagine the pressure put on Mr Lovesey. All very unpleasant. A chat with his Secretary might be interesting. Many thanks for all these interviews.

This is the story of a gentleman who loyally gave most of his working life to Bristol Cars Ltd. Clearly there were highs and lows along the way but, sadly, this is also a tragic story of gross mismanagement of a business and its employees, which ultimately lead to the demise of what was once a great British marque. R.I.P.

Bristol have recently been taken over by an Englishman called Jason Wharton and are building new 'remastered' versions of the 2 seater Fighter and a four seater 411 petrol engines cars to be available in 2022. This will be followed by electric powered cars, and if all goes well, Bristol could be heading for a bright new future, let's hope so .

What a shameful end to a once-proud British company. An aptly named company owner.....
