Is the paper dampened or soaked for this example, or will the akua color pull from a dry paper?

+Megan Martin For monotype applications you will get the best results with dry paper. If you are printing an etching or intaglio plate, then you will want your paper dampened so that it is pliable enough to be pushed into the plate.
