You were close...but for example, you would wire your Red(L) to your Blue(R)...and Red(R) to Blue(L)...and on and on throughout the car. This is why CantrolWC (32 outputs PLUS 8 TA outputs) was superior to Carbide (18 outputs)....never understood why anyone would chose Carbide. ***Feniex was brilliant coming out with the Quads, and the Converter was conceptually great, but the stupid thing is that if you have just an ILB and RearDeck (or 600/800 stick), then you need TWO of their 4200 controllers - OR - on another brand system you need to use up 28 outputs just for those products. They should have made it operate like the Whelen Expansion modules (or the Code3 Matrix output “points”....plus they ruined their products by eliminating more than half of their flash patterns and even worse - they altered the Attack Pattern (for dual colors or more) and they actually changed their signature Cluster pattern - which now looks like something anyone could make with a Feniex Flasher by tying the inner heads on 600’s, 800’s and ILB’s in a 2x2 “simultaneous cluster pattern” with one or two single flash (pattern) alternating on the outside modules. *Essentially it’s just a “shimmy - flash flash...shimmy - flash flash” pattern now. And the rest....WEAK SAUCE! So, ultimately their products are incompatible with any other control units, and essentially not even with their own. We have to tell customers if they want quad rear lighting, front has to be Dual Fusion...if they want ILB quad...rear has to be dual fusion (or other products/brands). I understand Wecan products are similar in terms of incompatible w other brand control units, BUT they at least have the WeCan ports on their own so that all their outputs aren’t used up by one and a third of a product. ***Some might argue the new “ONE” controller will address this issue, BUT that still means either Feniex makes customers buy new converters that have Data Link type capability with it, OR, the ONE will have to have something like 50-60 outputs in order to give customers enough outputs for all the other lighting etc in addition to the the 28 that the quad converter uses. Anyways, i digress .... Core being able to handle up to 99 expansion modules is crazy/genius. . . Much like Code3 Matrix did with the “control/relay points”, which eliminates substantial amount of wiring passing through to the Units.

How many lightheads can you daisy chain together like that off of those 1amp outputs?
