Some facts about Jimin since you wanted to know a little more: -Valedictorian (overall no. 1 student) -ranked first in Math and Chemistry (in Korea, there is an overall class rank like here in the states as well as a rank for each individual class) -Class President for 9 years -Had a happy childhood with parents that were pretty supportive of his ever changing dreams -When he was a kid, he really liked the show "One Piece" and thought pirates were the good guys; this led him to also practice kendo as one of the characters he liked was a swordsman -was incredibly skilled at kendo (which he practice for 8 years) -he has a black belt in Taekwondo (Jungkook as well has a red-black belt) -was so skilled at martial arts that he won a scholarship to study in China at a special camp (only freshman in his class to win a scholarship) -played soccer in middle school (and was a hardcore member of the soccer club) -specializes in multiple types of dance that are really different; started with popping but also learned hiphop, street dance, a little ballet, and contemporary; people mostly focus on his contemporary background, but he's actually been doing hiphop longer -wrote lyrics to the song 'Lie,' his style of writing isn't overly complicated and doesn't use super complex words but rather captures the emotion of the song in a beautiful but simple way -came up with *THE* melody for Blood, Sweat, & Tears (the way BTS/BigHit compose a song is that everyone contributes to lyrics/melodies/composition etc., they then choose the best of whatever is submitted) -has said that if he weren't an idol, he would be a police officer -when he was a child, he found a "penny" on the ground and turned it into the 'lost and found' at the police station -LOVES children -Jimin and Taehyung (V) have described eachother as 'Soulmates' (this isn't in a romantic way but rather as a sort of your my 'soul brother'); they are incredibly close and attended their last year of high school together when they were trainees at BigHit; Jimin said he was grateful toward V when they were in highschool because he had a heavy Busan accent and was very shy around strangers (so no one wanted to hang out with him); meanwhile V makes friends with LITERALLY everyone and so told the other students to include Jimin in their group; also, when V was going through a really hard time and fell into a bit of a depression b/c he was struggling with his first acting role, Jimin hugged him and let him cry it out; Jimin was worried because V had become really withdrawn and listened to his worries; he said, "I can't help you with this problem, but I can give you strength." Almost all this information Jimin never revealed himself. Getting him to talk about his achievements is like pulling teeth. Often it's others that will mention all these things and Jimin will just a quick nod or yes before trying to move the conversation to something else. Truly a "humble since the day he was born" as Jin once described. So often videos focus so much on his struggles. I'm not sure why people have highlighted this so much in Jimin, when in fact, ALL the members of BTS have faced such problems. Jimin no doubt has a ultra-perfectionist personality (I mean, just look at those achievements above and you can kind of get a good picture), however, people forget that he's also incredibly mature and strong. He is very in tune with the condition/emotions of others and looks after everyone in a quiet way. In any case, there's so more facts for you. Thanks for the reaction!

In my opinion, Jimin doesn't open that much about himself. Yes, he talks about his frustrations but he doesn't talk much about his past (before BTS) experiences or even some basic information about him. He will say something about himself once in a while but just a piece about him. Mostly some information that the fandom knows about him are coming from the people who knew him from the past like his teachers

Jin said on a variety show once that "Jimin is a friend that is humble since the day he was born." What people don't realize is just how many skills Jimin has. We all know that JK is the 'Golden Maknae', however, Jimin is equally talented in the variety of skills he has.....he just never talks about it and doesn't think it's worth mentioning. He was class president many years in a row, got near perfect scores in school (even though dance students weren't expected to get high grades in core subjects), was so skilled at kendo that he was sent to a special camp in China, is the most versatile dancer in BTS (as in he knows the most number of different styles), was so skilled in dance that even though his family couldn't afford the Busan School of Arts his teacher helped cover his tuition, and the list goes on. kook didn't do contemporary, he was actually not that good with dancing as a trainee so he went to get dance classes in the states, but I think it was primarily hip hop style

Jimin has changed a lot since they debuted, you can see it clearer in the blood, sweat and tears era, he became more mature and that 'aura' you guys picked up on is more obvious after this. He even said in interview that he's trying to mature but I guess it's natural, he was a teen when they debuted and now he's an adult he's just maturing

Unfortunately a lot of these videos focus on his struggles instead of of his achievements and lovable personality. I suggest you guys watch Ultimate Beginners Guide to Jimin by Don’t Worry I’m Not Afraid. When I first started to like BTS I wanted to know more and always found tha videos focused on jimins struggles and then I found this gem and it’s so so lovely! I get really sad when I think about how Jimin is a perfectionist and beats himself up on how he isn’t good enough at singing or his body issues. Jimin had an eating disorder and still struggles with it to today where he goes through dangerous periods of eating only once a day or going on fasts and works out 24/7 and never rests. He truly cares about the other members so much and I wish he could for himself

Jimin can get away with shit with Namjoon because Jimin is Namjoon's baby. But sometimes Namjoon is Jimin's baby. They're babies. But Namjoon has also said that Jimin is the one he can really confide in and talk about deep stuff with. So they can baby the other, but they know when to be serious and grown-up as well.

Since kayleb love v , here are some facts about v and jimin 💜 After jimin became trainee in bighit , he moved from Busan to Seoul , he started to go to the same high school with V. Although they were not in the same class , V introduced him to all his friends and teachers!! Jimin said he was too shy at that time and sometimes he wanted to stay alone in class. If V saw jimin was alone , V would ask his friends why didnt they take care of jimin and talk with him !!! They said they almost spent every moments together in high school time !! As they are both 1995 , in Korea , only people who is born in the same year can called each other “friend” . So they always called each other “ best friend” and soulmate in life !!

squishy min yoongi didnt really evaluate Jimin's weight disorder. He has serious mental images about his appearance and will make himself do vigorous dieting and exercise. [to the point where he would faint during some dance practices. I recommend watching Jimin's weight loss journey 2013-2017. It really helps you understand more about him.
