You are right though. I don't think they prepared themselves to go that far in their career. Especially V and Suga. They didn't really expect to be this big internationally. They just really enjoyed the ride even when other people kept saying they'd never go far all because they were from a small entertainment agency. Recently in MAMA 2018 award show, Jin even stated that they almost disbanded at the start of the year. I'm sure they enjoy what they do. I doubt anyone would go through what they did without loving what they do. I'm so glad I get to spend more years with them. I really think BTS deserve all the love and even more.

Of course they enjoy what they do, especially RM because he’s getting the freedom to make BTS’ music. In the past, Namjoon struggled with his identity as an idol/artist because a lot of kpop idols don’t have a hand in music writing or production. A majority of idol rappers don’t even write their own raps or they’re cookie cutter at best. However, Bighit didn’t have any such restrictions and wanted the rapline to write their own parts. He was struggling more with korea’s image of a stereotypical idol as being a label and misrepresenting the work he and bts were doing, but thankfully, the public slowly began to separate them from the stereotype. Apart from this, they (rm, jhope, suga) also worked on their solo mixtapes which gave them more control over production. If you watch namjoon’s album reviews you’ll see how much he loves music and his work. He contributed lyrics for all songs on LY Tear and was one of the only three people involved in producing Fake Love (which went #10 on BB hot 100), along with bighit’s ceo and their main producer. He’s also very popular for writing symbolic songs like Singularity (V’s solo) and Serendipity (Jimin’s solo).

Just to clear up some confusion with you guys: 1) Hyung- is what is said from a younger male to an older male. It is an honorific suffix said in Korea. It is shown as a sign of respect. It kinda means like "brother". So they will either say the word "Hyung" on its own when calling on an older member. Or they will say the members name, followed by saying the word "Hyung" after. For example, Jimin(younger) called RM(older) "Namjoon Hyung". 2) In Korea, the last name is said first before the first name. So RM's last name is KIM and his first name is NAMJOON .

Okay so Kim is like the family name or the last name for us. They just say it first. So its Kim Namjoon but for us it'd be like Namjoon Kim. There was an english interview where they introduced themselves in that style as a joke. Since they know its different for us. Also I'm halfway through and it made me sad because Suga talked about how scared he was to have reached the level they are at. He talked about how he cried the night of their AMA performance because of fear. Nobody has made it as far as them in kpop, and really not many artists period have made it that far either.Its so good to be so big but so beyond their expectations, its understandably terrifying. And the pressure omg I think whats great is that their love of music and telling their stories is so strong that they willingly sacrifice so much privacy, freedom and normalcy to continue to do it. It's hard but they have many people by their side to help them through it. I hope they always remember that.

29:20 i used to feel that way too sometimes how i worry if the members dont think they can fully show themselves in their music but the more you watch the more you see that they all put themselves into their music now and even incorporate some of their own solo projects!! -rap lines mixtape they all wrote and produced. And you can tell each of their mixtapes has their own unique genuine style to it because they all sound hella different to me. -vocal lines solo songs that have tunes and themes fit with their voice and aroma (singularity, Serendipity, Euphoria etc) Love your reactions as always!! im surprised you havent reacted to any sexy moments you should! if y'all really wanna watch how they interact with each other, go watch "bangtan bombs" on "bangtantv" or "bangtan subs" (with subtitles) here on youtube. they're like 5-20min videos of their everyday lives, practice and just them being crackheads. also, if u download vlive, all their run bts episodes are uploaded there.. all 101 episodes so far. it's just 30 mins of them playing games with specific topics per episodes. u'll get to know all their personalities with that. there's also "bon voyage" 4 seasons of them travelling by themselves and figuring out what they'll do in another coutry with very limited help from staff. they have other series like "bts gayo" where they play games related to music. they have several docuseries and movies during tours and concerts too!!
