Jin is the oldest member in the group, but in his family Jin is the youngest child. He tries to look after and take care of members of the BTS, even though he himself is not experienced in that. He is amazing.

I haven't seen other comments about this, but I do want to say that Jin was actually very shy! He is definitely confident in who he is, and is quite chaotic, especially now in 2019, but before he was shy and mostly doing it to make the other members laugh/feel more comfortable. There are two main complaints about this series: 1) there are some info that is wrong and some outdated, but people can just correct in the comments and 2) people usually say this is not a great series for a first introduction to BTS, but you know them enough at this point imho, I don't think the humour it's gonna be cringey. 🤷‍♀️ I love Squishy's videos though, so there's that.

@@MexineseFamily That I can remember on the spot: Jin and Yoongi are not roommates anymore (only Hoseok and Jimin still are) cause they each have a room in the new apartment and when she talks about Tae, I think that's a bit outdated cause Tae still has his random moments but has become quite a bit more calm recently. I'm gonna watch it again later and see if I pick up something else though.

@@MexineseFamily Ok, here we go: Jin only has one sugar glider now, Gukmul, 'cause Odeng and Eomuk passed away (and he recently released a song that he wrote thinking about them and his dog Jjangu, who also passed away, give a listen 👍). Obviously he's been playing piano _a lot more_ since this video was made, we've all seen Epiphany live performances. Lots of people don't like it when he's called the mum of the group: Seokjin and Namjoon are both dads, thank you very much everyone. I hope I got everything. 😓 Ps: being really good looking is a stereotype of idols in general, it's not an EXO thing, Jin was scouted for his good looks by both SM and BigHit after all.

Actually this series started out with the youngest but starting out with the oldest or any order for that matter is absolutely fine! @@MexineseFamily These intro videos by squishy min yoongi are older so some information has changed and some info is incorrect but army will let you know. They are still really funny videos. It does get a bit fangirly with the romantic shipping it talks about which can be a bit cringey if you don't know going into it. They are brothers to me so that just doesn't compute in my mind so I just look at the cute names as friend-shipping. The Habits series is really good and I always recommend that. Squishy Min Yoongi also has some great Suga videos of course like Yoongi's little sound effects kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIbTaI2cjJ2Iprs most people think of Hobi when they think of sound effects but Yoongi has some good ones he just isn't as energetic/outgoing as JHope is. Sm entertainment is pretty much known for approaching their idols in the weirdest ways possible. Sehun from exo once said that he literally got followed by them on the streets and that he started to run away cause they were being hella creepy, but they eventually got him. Not to mention that smentertainment definitely goes for very good looking idols to be in their company according the Korean beauty standards, so that’s probably one of the reasons why they approached jin.

Fyi, being good looking is like a first requirement to be scouted. And it worked not only in SM, but every idol agency. So the good looking kid would be approached by scouters to ask them to join the auditions. And if they hadn't been scouted, they join the auditions themselves.
