Something I feel not often talked about is the fact despite BTS hectic schedule 6 of the 7 members are college graduates and are now pursuing their masters degrees. Jungkook who is the youngest is still working towards his bachelor's degree.

In 2017, Jin graduated from Konkuk University in South Korea with a degree in art and acting. RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V all graduated from Global Cyber University with a degree in broadcasting and entertainment, and are now also attending the same university as Jin for their MBA in advertising and media. Jungkook as of 2020, he is enrolled at Global Cyber University, majoring in Broadcasting and Entertainment.

Big Hit, now under Hybe, preaches artistic freedom which is why the BTS members have grown into themselves so well musically. And I know other companies in South Korea don't give their idols too much of artistic freedom which is a shame.

V - my favorite voice - smokey sultry, soulful. He is an old soul - makes friends with anyone no matter color, looks, or age. A good boy. Off the charts in personality, will do the unexpected, you can not help but love him. BFF - Jimin, they went to school together, fought together. Jimin wrote 'Friends' which is on Marvel movie. V wrote 4o'clock in reference to Jimin. V recently picked up on the trumpet. His teacher said he has the lung and breathing down pat. Don't forget he has an MBA in Entertainment, Marketing, etc.

Guys their contracts with HYBE did expire but all the members chose to renew it for another seven years in 2018. Which shows that they are very comfortable with the company and want to stay there. Also I feel like being with a company makes a lot of things easier in the business aspects, so that they can focus more on their passion for several things.

Jin is my favourite vocalist because of how he's able to convey emotion. Jungkook is probably the most versatile out of the group and has the widest skill set. He does the majority of the harmonizing and the adlibs and backing vocals. He does the guide track when they're doing new songs, that the other members use to work on the song. He's also an amazing rapper and fills in for members who can't perform. In regards to the likes of RM, Suga and J-Hope not needing Big Hit... yeah, they did and yeah they do. Someone had to believe in them and give them their break. They were trained to become the composers and producers, songwriters and performers that they are. Big Hit invested, time, money, effort, training, studio time and mentorship in them. They have a symbiotic relationship.

you guys should DEFINITELY watch "The Rise of Bangtan", it's VERY explanatory and it shows their journey coming from a small company into a big industry. they've been through a lot since debut, suffered a lot to get where they are, and i think this documentary series is the best for anyone who really wants to learn about what BTS is.

My bias is Jimin, it's just crazy how good of a dancer and performer he is and I absolutely love his voice, it's so unique. Also, he has the most beautiful heart ever he's a real angel. As you learn more you will find that Taehyung has quite an unusual personality. The others found him difficult at first because his behaviour could be off the wall. If you watch some of the very early videos you can see SUGA calming him down. He has his own Tae Tae language which the others translate so we know what he means. They did a quiz about themselves for FESTA this year and one of the questions was about Tae Tae language. He and Jimin are soulmates and the song, Friends, is about their relationship. He has matured now but has a wicked dry wit like Yoongi’s.

I love the 7 members but my bias is V; his deep and velvety voice reaches the depths of the soul. But he also has a unique voice since in addition to being serious and deep (when singing it is the deepest of the 7 and kpop), he can make it scraped, airy, reaches quite high notes (very similar to the other 3 vocalists who are tenors) and in addition to that he achieves that in many opportunities his voice can be heard sharp. In Jimin's case, it's not that he always sings falsetto, although he does it very well; He is a light tenor or counterattack so his voice is very high and reaches notes that not even all women could.

*V's* voice is literally different from all bts members + *different from all deep voices singers* because he can change his deep voice to high note he can sing in raspy voice too and also in songs like *answer:love my myself* he does amazing jobs in back vocals because that what give exposure to their songs with other bts members That's why should I say doctor or musician who listen to v voice they say he is very different from other deep voice singers and he is the only one to do so many things so easily in instant to change tones without any problem

Taehyung/V is such a great artist he never fails to amazes me : a baritone legend , a dancer , an actor , a producer , a songwriter , a composer , a photographer , a model , a director ( for music videos and visuals ) ...etc , he's so smart and has his own style in everything wether if it's singing or dancing or even his fashion sense is different . I discovered BTS because of V. A year ago, I really had no idea what or who BTS was. I had heard some friends mention BTS but I never really liked Kpop...I was more into Kdrama. So one day, I was randomly watching some KZbin videos when I came across one entitled "The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2017" by TC Candler. Out of curiosity, I watched it...and there were a lot of familiar and expected faces like Leonardo Dicaprio, Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth, Henry Cavill etc... Then came the #1 most handsome face 0f 2017...V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS! I had no idea who V or BTS was! So, of course, I googled V and BTS. I was intrigued, so I searched for a BTS video to watch...it happened to be their performance of ON in Grand Central Station for the Tonight Show! Wow!...I was mesmerized! I kept looking for V in the video, but couldn't tell the members apart. So I started watching the introductory BTS videos...and down the rabbit hole I fell! And now I am a proud ARMY! I love all 7 members but of course, my bias is V! 💜💜💜

What helped me learn their names really quickly was honestly watching solo songs/videos from each member! They all have solo songs on the official bts albums (around 3 or 4 each) as well as non-bts songs that were released for free on soundcloud. You can also watch fanmade funny videos focusing on each member’s personality (channels like SugArmyy or Fandoms Unite for example) You mentioned a lot that “they don’t need their company” or “when their contract expires” and i can see how you could think that way from a US standpoint as well as knowing how restrictive many korean companies are, but with bts it doesn’t really work like that. Bts is by FAR the most important/successful group at Hybe and literally brought the company to where they are from struggling financially back in the day, they basically raised each other, it’s very symbiotic. Hybe knows this and also gives bts shares in the company, as well as many artistic freedoms which they had from the beginning. The members actually resigned another 7 year contract recently, when their first one expired, so are guaranteed to stick around at least until around 2026 or so - but have all said in interviews etc that they want to be BTS members and stay together for the rest of their lives. The members are all very close with each other and genuinely get along/see each other as family, which is pretty heartwarming 💜

Some considerations: rap line also has a lot of credits for songwriting because they usually write all their respective verses (it's part of being a rapper). Many of the members have been submitting their own compositions and lyrics for years, but they basically compete for credits between themselves and also with their in house producers (whose entire job is production/composition) and also foreign producers who send demos to their company... While they have to dedicate time to learn choreographies, practice vocalisation and prepare performances... So, they have limited time and the standard is high. (Even higher as they have gotten more popular globally.) The vocalists have been getting more credits in later years because they have become more interested in the music production side, and also because they have improved... Just like the members who had less experience with dance have improved their dance skills... This is also partially how their sound has expanded (it's a reflection of a bigger imput from 7 people with different tastes/influences...) Rap line tends to get their lyrics chosen for choruses too, because they're just very experienced songwriters. But yeah, they have a collaborative and competitive music process... BTS determines the album concepts/direction/topics of songs, many musicians submit their demos, the best beats/melodies/lyrics get picked (based on quality but also what fits the topic/and BTS brand better)... Then the members go through a long process of learning the full song, singing it, picking who fits each part better, multiple recoding/re-editing sesions, adding backup vocals, people adding production or instrumentals, etc... Until the songs are finished.

Jimin is critically acclaimed singer and dancer. Once American critic even called him a supernova saying he is once in a life time artist. He is called King of Kpop , Kpop frontman, Best dancer in Kpop, the Jimin for a reason. He was the reason BTS was chosen as Louis Vuitton ambassador because when he wore a LV shirt it was immediately sold out. He trained for only 6 months which is very rare. this introduction video gives very little info about Jimin. so I added it.
