My early childhood was spent in Cheshire, in the Wirral Peninsula, and as I lived not far from the Port Sunlight Village, I was able to cycle to the Lady Lever Art Gallery, within the village. I was completely captivated by the paintings of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood which Lord Leverhulme had bought, and, I suspect, have been completely captivated ever since. Much derided in their time, and often dismissed in later years, I do believe their work has attracted some long overdue re-evaluation. Thank you for this wonderful upload :)

I have a book from the Walker , and I found it interesting . I often have been found in The Manchester city gallery and their Preraphaelite gallery is good . But , this one in Liverpool look like a place for me to visit also.
