Okay, servants help the Lady, but who dresses the servants? Is it just a dressing factory at this time?

As beautiful as these Dresses are...and YES, i would also like to wear them today.....but i can imagine that going to the toilet had to be reconsidered 5 times, with all the pieces, skirts and petticoats :-D

thanks for situated the acorn story in the anti-war activism of Yoko and John. It is Canon Verney and their art work was not accepted in the famous sculpture exhibition in the ruins of the cathedral

Apparently it was 2 buttons on either side of the front flap on the trousers, then I guess you have to pull your front shirt tail/"undergarment" up? To the side? Not sure how they kept that from getting soiled...

It amazes me that western women used to cover their heads now we muslims cover it for centuries too but don't know what's the problem why they are bullied in America

Magic, excitement, wonders, imagination, music, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. Amazing to see and learn about Cicely Mary Barker's stories and creations of the flower fairies. I love them. Nothing ceases to amaze me with magic. Oh, I wish someone could have invited me to the museum where the fairy things were displayed because I do love fairies. I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up, and forget about the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I am like Peter Pan and have his youthful spirit. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. And I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell, and them. Forever young. Believe in magic and never grow up. No growing up, yuck! Fantasy rules and reality sucks! 🧚🧚♂🧚♀🧚🧚♂🧚♀🧚🧚♂🧚♀

I was really hoping they would do a full restoration of the painting, and remove the old varnish and retouching. As wonderful as this image is, the varnish is probably hiding its true splendor.
