Ok so, I'm actually an introvert trying to get a barista job at Starbucks. An infj-t specifically, and I was hoping that wouldn't be an issue haha. But I could've sworn by watching some of your videos that you were an extravert until you said otherwise. That right there is one of my goals lol. Thank you for making these videos for us👍🏻

I just got hired today and i did come off as introverted to the manager during my interview. But to be fair, my cousin works there and he asked her if he thought i could be loud enough to call out drinks and stuff and she told him yes. So he trusted her and decided to hire me lol. This is my first job so im excited/nervous a bit. I am gonna try my best though! U got this

Thanks for this. That last point you made is exactly why I’m trying to get a job at Starbucks. For a few hours each afternoon, I’d rather be anywhere but home. You made me think about it and you’re totally right. In that same way, there will be people like me who don’t want to be at home. Thanks for that!

Awesome video! Thank you for posting Stefania As a fellow introvert, I agree with all these great tips and also would add that doing this is a SKILL that CAN BE LEARNED! It's super scary at first but it gets a lot easier with practice. You'll find yourself creating "scripts" that work for you. It helps to focus on only one guest at a time. Give yourself the time you need to recharge your people batteries. Maybe move to ovens or wash dishes if you can until you get more "people points" for the day.

I'm having keto coffe as I watch this. Kerri gold butter, heavy cream, mct oil and singing nettle leaf for allergies. Yes I add all that to my coffee lol. It's rich and creamy.

Don’t know what’s Starbucks’ weird obsession with Customer Connection. It honestly feels like they’re trying to compensate for their terrible service and beverage quality. Nothing wrong with being friendly with customers, but Starbucks is taking it to a whole new and unnecessary level. Eventually customers will get fed up with the poor drink quality and service and just go somewhere else. Politeness can only take you so far.
