i was at this game! Sitting on the same side but lower section 304 I believe? I live about an hour and a half west of Baton Rouge and have been a HUGE LSU fan all my life. Should take a trip to the University of Tennessee sometime. Right now they actually have a decent team so fun atmosphere, and while you're there you are only a 1 hour drive from the Smokey Mountains National Park. If you've never been there you really should go. It is beautiful there, especially in the fall.

Very cool, but you gotta see a big top ten SEC matchup. Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss…. Etc The students and fans usually mess with the other team but with this being servicemen the crown was extra respectable. Also if you want free food don’t wear LSU gear, you mix in, wear stuff that screams I’m a tourist and everyone will show you kindness!

Please go to an SEC conference game. I suggest Alabama when they come to LSU next year. Tickets may be kinda high like $200 for upper deck or mabye a little more but its 100% worth it. Check out LSU home games. Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Alabama will all be great games. Oklahoma and Ole Miss tickets maybe $100. If you can't make those, UCLA would be my next suggestion. It'll be much more loud and rambunctious than an Army game.

LSU's field is the only one I can think of that marks off every 5 yards. It's one of the things I personally like about their field. (Note: many years ago I worked on the college football video game and worked with the art team on Uniforms, Fields, and Stadiums).

LSU tailgating is the best!❤ I remember my first time! The Florida Gators and LSU were both ranked in the top ten! LSU won! It was the BEST time I've ever had at a college football game! I have a confession to make, I'm a Longhorn fan! LSU is a close second! But the LSU tailgating is second to NONE! Geaux Tigers!❤

It’s great you know about Neck, but the band doesn’t play that song anymore because of the chant. Closest we can get is maybe a song that year that allows the student section to slip in STTDB like Right Above It. Next time you gotta stick around to watch the band run down the hill.
