Thank you, Donna! That means so much to me ❤️ Before starting this podcast I had no idea I actually LOVE to talk about knitting, other than to actually do the knitting. Thanks for sticking around

Hey Becky, always lovely to see you here ❤️ I kinda want to be back in California at some point, also because I feel like there are so many yarn stores that I missed and that I’d love to visit. Bye for now 👋

Oh I thought I had my next few patterns planned out but I had never seen leKnit before… so much loveliness in this episode as ever, and that plum coloured silk looks beautiful against your colouring, I feel like you’ll make a beautiful muted rainbows worth of cumulus tees before you’re finished with that pattern!

Ciao Francesca 🤗 you did a great job with that yellow cotton, it looks great! same with the leafinity top - in spite of muskat which for me was a disappointment, I still have a lot of it and will use it for summer structured jackets I think next summer....love your cumulus tees! at some point I will try that yarn in the future. The retreat seemed lovely! 💚🧶🧶
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
Hello my dear, the yellow Camisole No. 4 is actually the one that I’ve been wearing the most recently. It’s so lightweight! I’m happy I stuck with that yarn and made something with it. On the other hand, today I’m wearing the Leafinity Top and I must say that Drops Muskat is not very breathable and airy unfortunately, so not the best for the strong heat. I’m sure in late August it will be quite lovely… The Cumulus Tees have been one of my favorite knits recently. They’re so relaxing!

Hi, great podcast. Glad you are doing a le knit make along. I've recently discovered her patterns and I love them. I'm working on my second little Dahlia right now and I want to try a dahlia my size which will be the first jumper I've ever made for myself .
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
The little Dahlia looks so cute and I feel like it would not take much time, in one of the smallest sizes. I want to make one for my daughter. Should I also make a matching one for me? Ooh 😍 You’ll love having a sweater knit by yourself! You’ll be so proud and will wear it all the time. Good luck! It’ll be great and you would want to knit another 10 😂

Hi Francesca. I have just finished the peacock tee last month. you will love it. I am also going to make the Peacock Solo next which has long sleeves and a high collar. would that pattern be ok for knit along too? enjoy your episodes so much. happy knitting. ❤🌞🌸🐝🌼
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
That pattern sounds absolutely perfect for the leKnit-A-Long! I’ll keep my eyes on it myself. I’m looking forward for the Peacock Tee. Are you on Instagram or Ravelry? Would love to look at your finished Peacock Tee for motivation 😊
@paulam.57852 жыл бұрын
@@AnItalianKnitter unfortunately I just recently closed my Insta account, but I knit it in a colonial blue color in tensel yarn. Very soft with a nice sheen to it. I'll have to work on getting my projects on Ravelry. I just use it for patterns. Thank you.

Hi francesca, I have a question about the cumulus tee. I am knitting one in drops safran. I finished the body with an i cord but it seems to roll up. Will that disappear with blocking? I am not sure about the lenght too, so I will probably rip it out anyway and make it longer.🙋♀️

Hi Francesca! I’m just finishing up my Palme Tee in Drops Cotton. It’s beautiful and fits perfectly. It was the first time I used a chart but itwas not difficult. I would really like to see how the Peacock Tee is on you. Good luck from Canada 🇨🇦
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
The Palm Tee is next on my to-knit list. I’m loving knitting up the Peacock Tee in Sandnes Garn Line, but would love to try maybe Drops Belle for the Palm Tee - I think they might have more or less the same content/yardage. So many (knitting) plans, so little time 😂

Oh cool, I was just about to knit the Palme tee so I would love to join the knit along :) Will there be any group chat on Instagram or somewhere? :)

Hi Francesca, I am working on Leafinity Top and I am running into trouble with the first round! I have run out of stitches and am SUPPOSED to have space for another leaf and the border. Did this happen to you? I’m wondering if it's because row 1 has decreases already 🤔
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
Hey Franny! I didn’t encounter any issue and looking at the pattern I feel like there are no decreases on the first row. Message me on Instagram so that we can discuss actual stitch counts and stuff like that (I don’t want to put it here because it’s a paid-for pattern).
@franci99362 жыл бұрын
How did you go back to the beginning of the work to make the the icord bind off.
@AnItalianKnitter2 жыл бұрын
I undid my work from the cast on edge, one stitch at the time. More specifically, I undid one stitch from the cast on edge and then place that stitch on a circular needle, and I did that for the entire cast on round, until all the stitches were on my needle. Then from there I undid one stitch at the time until I had frogged enough fabric. Then I cast off. If this was been stockinette, it would’ve been a much faster/easier process, but since it was a lace pattern I had to undo one stitch at the time instead of frogging a good chunk and then put the stitches carefully back on my needles.

I just stumbled upon this podcast. Right off the bat, I want to say the audio quality is bit weird. There is a lot of echoing and it seems like you are talking very far away fro microphone. Can you please look into this? Otherwise i've enjoyed it. Thank you.

Sorry about that. I have very basic equipment at the moment (just a phone) but plan to acquire more tech soon. Thank you for stopping by! 👋
