Good for repairing oem systems or stock to mild setups. But not my choice for a performance efi application. Still limited on size as well.

@7:19 Do you happen know how to shape that hose into intergral sign (or $ sign)? I need to shape like that a 19/32 in (ID) hose for fuel, since can't find that part. Is it possible? I bent it using clamps and twisting ropes, heated w/heat gun (but slightly, it was hot on touch, but not that hot, I was afraid to damage the hose w/too high temperature). The bent hose was sitting in that shape after cooling like 2-3 days, but after the clamps were off, it doesn't keep that shape pretty much. I saw a film, in one shop for coolant hoses, in Brazil I believe, they filled the hoses w/smth which looked like saw dust to me, shaped them and then baked under certain pressure in a special oven equipped w/a barometer. Is it the way how those rubber hoses are shaped at a factory? I can't find any information about it. Thank you for the informative film.

Interesting question. The fiber reinforcement in most will resistance permanent bending. My first thought would be to use metal wire and shape it how you like and then put it inside the hose. Etc.

@@lightblade543 With the wire inside I'm afraid it still might get some kinks, I thought to wire around outside and then bend. For right now I'll put a few metal clamps in the area of possible kinks. Thank you for your answer.

@@olenaerhardt7725 no prob to prevent kinking maybe try some copper or aluminum metal tubing that's closer to the inside diameter of the hose that way helps retain the round shape when bending.

can i use sae 100r6 hose for fuel?

Can or should? Thats up to you, it's not what it's designed for obviously.

What lines would you use for ATF? Can I use earl’s super stock hose from my transmission to my cooler?

Any sae compatible 30r9 or better is fine.
