As hard as it is to believe, the MC-10 was my very first computer! My dad couldn't afford a CoCo (much less Apple or commodore). However he finally got me a CoCo2 when I entered high school because this couldn't do enough. I've been following other MC-10 videos lately, such a nostalgia kick, hit then this thing shows up & WOW! Thanks for showing this! One thing to remember is that the main limitation comes from using a 6803 microcontroller (MCU) rather than a general CPU like 6809 (CoCo) or even 6800 (which 6502 sort of emulated but not enough to get sued).

There are people now that are pushing the MC-10 well past what anyone thought it could do.

That's a great video. Never thought you could do all that on a MC-10. Keep the dream alive!

This is only one of the add-ons. People have made a few little toys for this little computer lately.

Very interesting, thinking of picking one of these up soon. Thankfully they're not too expensive on ebay. I have a Coco 1 (an early model too) but this is just a nice little convenient thing so I want one too. I wasn't even born until 95, but I could see me buying something like this in the early 80s, that I could easily pack into a bag with me, and connect to whatever TV I needed, where I was.

I'd love an MC-10 for my collection.

They are actually a nice little computer, a little underpowered if you don't have something like this, but still nice!

It makes the MC10 at least 500 times more useful!

Oh cool! So that's how it works! Maybe one day I will get to try mine! Now if I could stop that nasty habit of taking things apart! :D Nice video as always Ken!

As long as you can put things back together at least 50% of the time with no left over parts you are doing better than me 😁

@@CanadianRetroThings Um, I aim for 99.44% complete... and those parts that are left over? those are the ones that stopped it from working! :D

MCX32-SD looks like a much better system than the MC-10 ram disk. May have to see about getting one of these.

It is a great addition, it makes the MC-10 much more usable.
