An Ojibwe Perspective of the Night Sky with Travis Novitsky

The night sky has fascinated humans for tens of thousands of years. For millennia, indigenous peoples in the Boundary Waters region have observed the night sky, making it an important part of their culture. Because the Boundary Waters is a designated night sky sanctuary, it is among one of the best places in the world to be observed.
In this presentation, we're joined by Travis Novitsky, an Ojibwe artist and night sky photographer, who will share his experiences and stories on the wonders of the night sky.
