Straight or curled? 😈 EDIT: There were a couple typos in the recipe cards so we put a blur over them - sorry for the confusion! Open Sea Leather 👉 rb.gy/neoikl Curiada 👉 bit.ly/Andersbottlepicks

It is going to be curled, just because here in Brazil we got Curaçao, and it is hard to get Grand* Marnier

Hi Az here! SORRY for the typos in the recipe cards, I was editing this into the wee hours last night and I totally spaced on those. Will put a blur on the incorrect measurements (sorry metric folks 😖) using KZbin’s editing tools instead of re-uploading because we don’t wanna lose your wonderful comments and views. The blur should be on there in a couple hours. Thanks and cheers 🥂😅

Really liked how you split the video to show adding the different orange liqueurs at the same time. A small touch. Maybe only shaved a few seconds off the video. But I think it kept the pacing right and had a cool look to it. So, small goof on the metric conversions, but, overall, outstanding editing!
@twitch19653 жыл бұрын
It works, I mean why use funny units when these drinks were developed they used the far superior imperial units, so much easier to measure and mix with jiggers!
@Coasterdude021493 жыл бұрын
🤣 I do metrics too Az, it's much easier for me when altering a recipe. It drives my family bonkers, but it works for me. It's much easier to halve 100 mL than it is 3.38 fluid ounces, right? Love your pops of artwork as the flash by too! You should do more of those when time allows. Cheers! 🍸🍸

Congrats on the 100k subscribers award, and the further 22k since reaching the afore mentioned milestone (there seems to be no metric equivalent for a milestone, here in Australia we still have the odd milestone from yesteryear). Having now watched all of your videos I am not in any way surprised that you have reached this point. If this becoming your job/s results in “more sips, tips and recipes” more frequently I for one am all for it. Great job team, cocktail making privately and professionally is much more relatable thanks to your approach to, and execution of, these videos. In addition to a “straight” or “curled” Satan’s Whiskers I found a recipe for a “Enroulee” (missing the accent over the second of three eees) which apparently means curled in French and calls for Mandarine Liqueur. And furthermore, Satan’s Whiskers marcelled (defined as a deep soft wave in hair) using falernum and Fee Brother’s bitters. How about other versions using Campari or Aperol? Perhaps “Razored” or “Cut-throat” naming conventions could be adopted for some riff(the old school weighted folding blade razor, not the method of ….). I am really new to this whole “make your own cocktail” thing, Campari and Aperol could be completely inappropriate in this drink, with or without the clumsily suggested names.

Watched this, realized I had the ingredients and tried it! I had the curacao. It's good! I used to yhink I didn't like gin. But after this a few other cocktails (Not all tonight....) I realized, I actually like gin! At least the gins I've had lately. I finished a bottle of Bombay sapphire we'd had forever, and now I have a bottle of Aviation gin. Both quite nice! The Aviation has less of a piney flavor.
