Last round in 4th? I will risk it all for the biscuit if you know what I mean. Even if I get ronned, I will still be in 4th. Although yeah the copper coins and mmr penalty will be higher if you lose a lot of points but you will lose a lot of points by being 4th anyway.

Not to nitpick but I think it'd be helpful to consider. In that east 2 round, if you had tossed the 1 pin instead of the 3 man you could've set yourself up to be in tenpai when the round came to a close. It doesn't seem like much but that's a difference of 2500, which could've made the difference down the line, even if it was only 4th to 3rd place. On a side note, I would've tossed that green dragon and let the wolves do what they may. I don't blame you for not, I'd just say yolo instantly.

I'm still very new at this so please help me out but was dropping the 2nd 5 here the right play? Surely this is when you should pivot to 5-6 bamboo and drop part of the 7-9 pin shape? Please correct me if I'm wrong. 11:16

I'm very new too but with only efficiency in mind yeah it's a two sided 4-7 bamboo wait compared to a 8 pin wait (checked with calculator)
