Bruh... well.. In Granblue Fantasy, to get the blue skin, all you need is the trophy “Guider to the Eternal Edge” and clear Chapter 114 Quest: "Guider to the Eternal Edge" but to do that, one of the many, many requisites is to use like 45 gold bricks, the rarest item in the game… I've been playing for 6 years, and I'm not even close… after you set the skin as your goal it takes at least one year, Cygames is being kind of generous, lol

It may seem generous compared to a gacha game but this is a fighting game that has a full price tag if you want any of the cosmetics. Compared to contemporaries such as Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, UNI, etc, it is alone in having this issue. I understand that they may want to keep the attention of players but the contrast from other titles is jarring.

@@shanevalshane i've spent like 10x times the price of the GBVS on surprise tickets that are worth like 30$ each, I believe that the real problem is that new people intro granblue think that getting stuff is easy... gbf is the gacha that requires more farming as far as I know, but that's okay, I see your opinion as valid, you should try GBF if you liked GBVS you'll change your mind with your own experience gathered while playing.

Personally wish they would give something like 10 Rupies per online match. It wouldn’t be a lot but it would still be enough that after like an hour of playing you should have enough for 2 rolls in the crane game. Would make it so you don’t have to rely on either dailies or maxing out all the characters to get everything even without the battle pass even if it will take a hell of a lot longer than getting the battle pass. Also please add Rupie rewards for first time completion of bosses in story mode, it needs some kind of reward to incentivize more people to play through it. Just feels to me like they should at least throw a bone to free to play people even if I’m not one of them myself.

I think that the stripped down story mode compared to RPG mode from the last game is intentional and makes it so that people who just want to get online and run sets can do so without missing much. Personally, I'm okay with the story being its own reward and really enjoyed the new chapter. But yes, some small amount of coins per match would go a super long way for unlocking all the gallery content.

Once you've collected all the avatar weapon skins from the draw tickets, you get +1 rupie per day up to a whopping 30 for every 1 draw ticket item you've already collected. This should make up most of the deficit.

I did the math including dailies, free battle pass tier, and getting all characters to level 155 (last level that gives currency). To unlock everything that can't be unlocked by leveling, including all the stuff in the crane game with no misses, it's at least 1,400 days of daily grinding required to unlock everything. It comes down when you buy the, I'm assuming at least based on the original game, 8 premium passes since they give extra rupies, but still over three years of daily grinding. Comes down a bit more if you buy the color 20 and 21 packs, which is why the grind is so extreme: to push you towards spending more real money to unlock data already on your hard drive in the game that you already spent $50-75 on.

It would make sense if you could buy Rupies or the artwork in the gallery or the avatars etc but you can't, so it just feels like an oversight

Lowain & Bubs main here. I feel 15 rupies per match would be nice. I at least plan to save up for color 21 for Bubs and Lowain but the way we get rupies now is just… Not cutting it for me. I know in GBVS og, the battle pass had rupie rewards so I know Rising will follow suit when the battle pass arrives.

@@Supernir He's asking if the in game money is tracked by the client in the player's computer or if it is tracked by Cygames' servers If it's the former, you can modify it using Cheat Engine, but if it's the latter you can't

I think they have to be a bit more stingy on rupies since they made it so ya can actually buy dlc character with it in the store. Additionally some peeps have been using some exploits to get rupies faster like afk farming in ranked. I wonder if it was particularly profitable for em to do it that way. Imo they should've kept the DLC character purely paid only, and to better give out more rupies in general without having too much trouble affecting profitability.

This game should have 3000 rupies per completion of the arcade mode, like GGST. The meager daily reward of GB is insane.

I just got the skin for djeeta with about 3 characters level 200, 2 characters between 100 and 200 and a small handful around level 70 or so, I think it's pretty fair for me to be able to get a paid skin for free with a reasonable amount of gameplay especially seeing that you can now get dlc for the same price. By making the rupee economy more limited it allows them to add more sought after rewards instead of a system like fighters or guilty gear where you can pretty much just get colours and songs. If they ever added something where you get rupees after every match then they would be infinitely farmable even if it took a while which would quite significantly hurt their dlc sales ect. I think it'd be nice if they just added a little more to the daily rupees if anything but I don't think it's necessary to be honest.

If that was an issue, they just wouldn't make DLC purchasable with Rupies. I think a good compromise would be to have gallery content have its own currency rewarded per match, maybe.

@@shanevalshane That's exactly how it was in the previous version. You unlocked gallery items with Renown Points you got from playing arcade mode, but rupies were used to buy colors in the RPG mode. It was a conscious choice to make the currency system, along with RPG mode, worse in this version.

I like it personally. Grindable cosmetics make for a fun goal and you don't have to own everything. Nor be able to pay your way through it. Makes things more special imo

I like being rewarded for playing the game, especially with cool cosmetics. However, as I pointed out, there are a lot of things you can only unlock with Rupies that aren't cosmetics like a lot of the gallery content. Having to choose between two tries of the crane game and an illustration feels unfortunate to me.

@@shanevalshane You get 6000 rupies at the start(at least thats what I got when I started up a few days ago) you can target what you really want than just work your way for the rest of it. They probably do want to encourage people buy deluxe edition though since you get the deluxe character pass half off that comes with the costumes but I think its good they at least allow you to get the costume for free if you plan on getting invested long enough. They expect the content in the shop to last years most likely they don't want you to get everything in a few weeks.

Well, after Lucilius got added, i can see why they decided to make rupies so hard to get They really just wanted to make it harder for people to get the DLC characters for free Because otherwise nobody would buy the DLC if you could just get enough rupies and buy it from the Rupie Shop Even so, they could make it give just a tiny bit more since it probably is gonna take ages to get just a singular new character

@@shanevalshane About gallery specifically, the scummiest thing about it's economy is that unlocks from base Verus didn't carry over. I already bought almost all content there in previous game but now I have to use very limited currency just to unlock old stuff (not to mention an achievement is tied to that).

idk, once you get the stuff you want getting the rupies isn't fun anymore so I'm okay with it taking so long. Especially when you can stuff you would normally have to pay for like costumes and characters.

I will give you a reality check: Cygames does not give a single fck about (your) feedback. They never did care about such things and they dont do now. Rare ressources is sth they love doing to bind people to their games. Just look at gbf

@@2Namii its a strong footises game with some darn good options on characters especially with ultimate moves. Can see how it burns one out especially at the higher ranks. But basic idk about that. Maybe surface level but i think its one of the more demanding of me as a player from the fgs I've played.
