We had the myhr streaming Icon, a tiny congregation of 30 . Hearing you, you speak to my soul. My son converted to Islam and we took him to see Orthodox priest in Sacramento, it was a disappointment & heartbreaking meet he basically sold us a book. My son was willing to listen to this priest and he sent him running away. One day before I die, I pray to come and see you speak in person. God Bless and keep your voice loud.

(is a note that we need to be always ready to pray) thus females need to have their heads covered MOST of the times, and males to have their heads uncovered MOST of the time...... or as much as possible, as a sign to be ready to turn in prayer.....instead of most of the times females to have their head uncovered or most of the times males to have their heads covered........its not hard to understand!!!

There is no need for a priest after Jesus. The church in olden times were a gathering of people who even in their homes broke bread and ate remembering Jesus. There were no special priests standing and blessing and reciting so many words to convert the bread to body snd blood of christ. The disciples could have very well sat on a throne and called themselves priests or pope but they had the characters of a mere human being set out to just teach Jesus words. They didn't ask for power, respect or to be kept above everyone saying they are great priests or pope. Instead they lowered themselves lower than normal people. They didn't demand respect or special authority or a special place. Jesus also never asked for a higher position. He rode on a donkey and ate with the sinners. Kissing priests and pope hand, kneeling before them, and putting them above all is not Bible teaching. It's again just human traditions that Roman catholic brought

The closer people appear to he truth the more decieving they are, I pray for those misled by Mar Mari. 42 minutes onward. When we take the bible out of context, we can make it say anything we want. It is said in eccleasitics "there is a time to kill" but God said if someone strikes you on the right turn to the left... context is key. In Matthew where he asks them not to call anyone father, he is not refering to parents, not speaking about the family unit. In that chapter he is addressing the Pharisees who like to have power over the masses, status, it describes how they enjoy their status and wear costumes, like yourself, to show their position etc. He then says not to call anyone father, rabbi, teacher. The context is a religious setting. Again like yours. When two or three are gathered in my name = church. Its not the buildingz not the costume, or traditions which are not biblical. It is simply 2or 3 gathered to worship God. There is no heirachy in a church "all brothers" is what was quoted in that same chapter. " nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;" 1 Peter 5:3 Someone standing in a costume, with his head covered (Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head." 1 cor 11:4), accepting a man kissing his hand on the pulpit doesnt sound like being examples to the flock. "There is one mediator betwen God and man, the man Christ". Who are you to tell people what the holy spirit has or hasnt revealed to them when it is not in the bible? The traditions of the "church" be that Catholicism or Orthodox have not stemmed feom the bible rather only exist because of 2 reasons: 1. The masses havent read the bible on ther own 2. Priests and those in power do everything, as did the Pharisees, to keep it. The Pharisees hated Jesus because he bascially told them the kjngdom i being you is spirtual, making thier power and position null and void. You stand here telling the masses the holy spirit can not tell them your position is null and void. I would have phrased this more subtly, however, given how well you know the scripture, I struggle to find this misinterpretation anything but deliberate. Read Matthew 23:13. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. My heart goes out to Assyrians and Chaldeans stuck in the traditional churches that pray to saints and are told to remain in these "churches" practising idolatry.

Please see Exodus 29.9 A belt on the waist and a cap on the head are the signs of the priesthood. In Old Testament there is a reference of headdress of high priest and Priest. A cloth on the head of the Orthodox priest is an indication of celibacy (Monk).

In his defence you argued in Mosiac law the high priests covered their head. So you are holding mosaic customary law as something the churches should practice. When Paul wrote to the Churches how they should conduct their meetings, we do not practice mosaic customary law. The Eucharist did not replace sacrifices, Christ's death replaced sacrifices once and for all. We remember his death (not clean our sins) with the Eucharist - Christ cleaned ur sins on the Cross.

In celebration of eucharist Holy Spirit comes down from the heaven and remains in the bread and wine placed in the Altar and transformed into the body and blood of the Christ. The Holy Communion in Oriental Orthodox Church is performed to attain eternal life only. There is no prayer for physical achievement. I think you don't recognise Holy Communion as blood and body of Christ. Br. What Christ said to his disciples if you don't recognise this as my blood and body you can leave me . Where in Bible does it say to call priest 'father'? Ten commandments say to respect parents. But it doesn't say to call the word 'father to parents'. Jesus called his earthly mother just 'women' not mother.

If the leader is not brother to correct those in wrong. He has to turn the church into Godly center then worldly center. All of them are not well trained Priest. There is no correction if they are wrong. But they are like warm priest. They do their daily duty and that's all. They cannot heal or deliver. No sacrifices, no prayers and fasting to get the gift of healing, when they pray for healing nothing happens, all they say is it's the will of God for them to die. Look at the protestant they can heal all sicknesses and deceases, how come. They believe that they too can heal the sick and will do anything to get that gift. They are determine to get the gift. But catholic cannot heal at the alter of God. It should be done out side the church. Many left the church and opened their own church. They are not happy with that too.

If all priests can forgive sins and heal and they should come in the line of Peter then I don't think we will have priests and bishops who rape kids and abuse nuns.
