An OTIS GenTOUR of Liverpool ONE's Main Elevators (OTIS Gen2 Lift Tour)

[Recorded 16/8/18 AND 17/8/18] Well, I hope the combining of Gen2 and tour worked anyway. :P
This is a tour of the main lifts at Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre. These are partially scenic OTIS Gen2 MRL traction lifts with custom Drucegrove voice announcements! One of the best ones is "Please stand clear of the closing door". That one is almost like what you might here on a train! These lifts feature light fixtures on the top and bottom of the cars that light up purple so as they are travelling up and down the shaft they make an awesome purple glow effect in the shaft which I wasn't actually expecting to see. Overall then these lifts are actually quite interesting and very nice and the different banks of lifts go to different floors:
Set 1: 1, 2, 3, 4

Set 2: 1, 2, 3, 5
Single Lift 2: 3, 4, 5

I've never seen any Gen2 installed before 2009 with Lumina fixtures :) Maybe just two in a locked office building

If I had a mansion, I’d like it to be called Epsom One. I’d like the lift to be an Otis GeN2 with custom messages. The floor numbering of Epsom One goes like this. 1, 2, and 3. 1 is the Ground level, 2 is the Upper level, and 3 is the Terrace level. I’ll be moving to Epsom One when I have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours.

Single lift 1 did not sound bad as in your latest video. Maybe it's the lift on the guide rails

I like Otis Gen2's! Although not my favourite. Some Lift Enthusiasts thinks Otis Gen2's are crap lifts. In my opinion they are nice lifts although they have their advantages and disadvantages...

there are better lifts than Gen2s but there are also much much worse. I like the Gen2s in this video a bit more than the average Gen2 because of the custom announcements

I think your volume might be turned up a bit high, it is a loud intro but it's not too bad at the right volume setting
