Thanks mate. You will notice that I never mentioned the baseboard; that’s because Chris made that, impeccably. If I had attempted it, it would be a wobbly banana 😀

A most enjoyable and informative video Jason. I know only too well how difficult it is to operate and film at the same time..... more outtakes and swearing than you could imagine! Also good to catch up with you recently, and I look forward to the next installment.

Thanks Kier, was great catching up with you the other week. I ended up with nearly two hours of footage for this, mostly junk and swearing (and one bit where the cat annoyed me and got called some choice names). Definitely type two fun!

Well this was a welcome surprise notification you had released a video! The level of detail is what blows my mind, and that it is a working mill as such, good to see you get this back up and running mate 😊 Who knew you love a good shunting... Look forward to more videos 😊

There was more swearing in the making of this than there was at Tarw Du 🤣

@@flawedfinescale8454 🤣🤣 then that must have been a lot if it beat Tarw Du, bet it doesn't best it for thumbs down though!! Good detailed video

Nothing will beat Tarw Du for thumbs down (62, to 77 Likes). Still pulls in views three years on though 🤣

@flawedfinescale8454 🤣 well ot was a great day out after all, you did have the best time ever! My only feedback now would be you need true model railway curtains behind the mill, maybe a sky scene on the curtains 🤷🏻♂️

Thanks Andy, and will hopefully not leave it as long until the next one. It’s kind of tricky knowing what to waffle on about, especially as everything I do takes so long. Wagon weathering maybe?
@andypeters63365 күн бұрын
@@flawedfinescale8454 Weathering one would be good. I found when I got feedback from You Tube that the average watch time was around 10 minutes, so my last few were a lot shorter. but then you can do more short ones which is better and also builds up a better following. All the best, Andy P.

@andypeters6336 duration is a weird one; on my other channel, I try to keep the videos to about 12 minutes but the most viewed ones are much longer. The other element acting on viewing duration is people who start watching but click away shortly after 30 seconds (minimum time to register as a view, which is why trying to grab people’s attention at the start is so important)
@andypeters63365 күн бұрын
@@flawedfinescale8454 Yes, into grabbing is important and you nailed it on this one. 👌👌👍👍

Lovely modelling Jason. I might have to steal that track plan for a future project. How did you make the cobbles? I'm actually a regular viewer of your other channel but stumbled across this a while ago after reading the sandside thread on RMweb. I was hoping for more uploads so this is a very welcome surprise. Look forward to whatever comes next!
@flawedfinescale84545 күн бұрын
Thanks mate. Track plan works pretty well in adding a bit more interest; cobbles are adhesive vinyl sheets produced by a Spanish company called Redutex. Very different content to the other channel but hopefully kind of recognisable with the silly stuff 😀
