I am very curious. Can this service be used to "subscribe" to an external websocket and manage the connection (aka ensure we stay connected) by itself? When a message is received, the goal would be to call an Az Function.

@@michaelstone7487 Where did you find that timeline. Looking to utilize this service and 4-8 week time line would be more than realistically need bring this service to production environment which would make me comfortable beginning to development with intention in mind

It's a cool stuff with pretty much less code. If azure web pubsub is not using the singnalR then what's technology which is behind to broadcast and receive message.
