Yes, most of the clips are from Blackpink House, with quite a few from Blackpink Diaries. You probably already know this, but my bias is Jisoo. And three bias-wreckers. You should check out any of the videos from "Sea of Hope" with Rosie. They are all really good, but I especially like the cover of "If I Ain't Got You" with her, Onew from Shinee, and Suhyun. Three beautiful voices on a beautiful song. Hope you have a fun vacation!

I always feel the need to explain the "I have no money" (She was bargaining), and them (in Blackpink House) always trying to get discounts, etc. People don't realize that they were charged for their training and for the stipend they were given. Even during Blackpink House, when they were bringing in millions of dollars for YG, they were still living in the dorm, and (not really a spoiler) one scene where the mascot brings them a letter, they thought it might be their "allowance". It wasn't until they got that debt paid off that they could get their own places and have any real money. The Kpop training system is harsh.

not really buying this, every BLINK who pays attention knows they are all from fairly well off middle class families. The girls are obviously in a much better financial situation now after all the success, but their struggles in the early days weren't financial ones (though their dorms in trainee days were less than great and Lisa famously had to be the one to deal with any insects). This Thai catch phrase seems to have been more of a running joke with the girls.

@@KathleenReacts I did a Google search for yg trainees for training, housing, and food etc they got about 80 to 100 thousand a year I do know there parents didn't really send them money so what they earned from yg is all they had.

@@KathleenReacts lol don't believe everything, it doesn't apply to blackpink. for one, all of them are super rich even before being idols. two, The big 3 companies has an efficient system for training. three, YG pays the most fairly out of all the companies, the 'no money" part was just a joke. them staying in dorm in the early years was just for easier promotion as a group and for increasing teamwork.

you're right they are all close but the maknae line (chaelisa) and unnie line (jensoo) are closer, this video is a bit biased though, they added maknae line clips twice but never even mentioned the unnie line. the unnie line, jensoo are the closest members of the group. Jennie and Jisoo were bffs 5 years before they even debuted or even selected as members of bp, they were also roommates for all those years. they always used to stick together and their families are also very close so seeing their interactions made other trainees think that jensoo were real sisters.

No, it's a tv reality show Real Men 300 where celebrities go through military training. A lot of Blinks at the time didn't want her out in the sun getting potentially exhausted, thankfully Somi's dad (who has acted in some movies and K-drama small roles) Matthew Douma was there and helped take care of her. Somi is former I.O.I center now soloist under THEBLACKLABEL (which is Teddy's sublabel of YGE) and is friends with BLACKPINK. Lisa appeared on Somi's short KZbin reality series comparing Animal Crossing progress while hanging at the studio with Teddy. I wanted to identify all clips with episode numbers and livestream dates, but that will require much more research and rewatching old videos to verify and I've been too lazy to take on the overwhelming task while still trying to catch up on watching Kpop content (especially FROMIS_9 and PURPLE KISS and DREAMCATCHER content), my massive 'need to watch' lists on Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, etc. (as a devoted movie geek: foreign, indie, Criterion Collection, Turner Classic Movies, etc. just watched best picture nominee Minari finally) and trying to complete this season's Battlepass on Call of Duty so I can try to go play PUBG during the few weeks collab with BLACKPINK to unlock outfits, items, parachute, etcetera BLACKPINK items in game now that it's not only on mobile version of game like the last one I missed.
