I don't get the hate for Formula E. This was, just like Misano, a great advert for the competitiveness of this format. They need to ditch the Attack Mode and introduce pitstops, or give the drivers more energy than they need to finish the race. Remember the days of F1 drivers nursing tyres??

Attack mode is essentially pit stops. You lose time, but more power gives you a chance to make up positions (at least in theory), just like with new tires

Even if they introduce pits on the next season, I can say they shouldn't ditch the attack mode, it's their equivalent for f1 DRS

But one major fault with formula e is that the guy in the front is at disadvantage, its would be good in non spec series like f1 or wec( I think its non spec too ) but in F-e its like being punished for being good

The big reason why people hate formula E dispite it being a very competitive an entertaining title battle then F1 now a days is cause when it comes to other motorsports fans who know nothing about real racing its that they dont like electric vehicles an the sound that these cars produce which to them is a poor excuse to hate the sport. I myself only started to like it cause former F1 drivers now race it which is very interesting another is that i was pretty happy when they raced in my birth city of new york. People can hate it all they want but it still as of today produced far better an entertaining racing then F1

All that overtaking is because of the rules, because the energy manegement and that mario kart like turbo field. It might seem spectacular, when you look at the numbers of overtakings, but it's usually not, because the random rules cause drivers to drive slower then they can and nobody actually wants to lead the race for the first 3 quarters or so.

The peloton effect is the best thing about formula E. Please keep it. The tactics are so interesting. People don't realise, but in the days before downforce formula one and others also had a peloton effect of sorts. Formula E might be cutting edge tech, but it's also very old fashioned racing. And it's better for it.

Was there yesterday. Intense Race! Please @Formula E: Stop Music during Qualifying and the Race. The Commentator on Track was so loud (and permanently talking) you could barely hear anything from the track. Don't worry, it's ok if there are moments where you can actually talk with each other on the grandstand. I measured more than 110 dB (average). Not necessary.

The coverage on these highlights really is not great. 40 laps covered in around 6 minutes. We've got no chance of learning how or why anything has played out. The racing is great but we don't get to really see enough of it to understand what's happening other than the actual changing of positions.

The editors and producers are clearly working to a fixed format, likely tied into what rights are available but it's a disappointing thing all round.

What is with this editing? The cuts are so rapid-fire that I can barely even see what happened. Way too many cuts to the aftermath of incidents instead of the incidents themselves! This video easily could have been 10-12 minutes long, and should have been, at a bare minimum. I feel like I barely know what happened in this race. That said, it's better than nothing. Here's hoping for future improvements!
