Last-minute showers saw Qualifying 2 cancelled on Tuesday evening, but we were back in action for Qualifying 3 on Wednesday.

It's kind of pointless really, it's only rough estimation of what's to be expected. Practice is only important for bike setting, not setting times. Everyone does different number of laps on different machines.

Ducatis are simply to expensive to build a race bike, that you may not win anything on, from. Think there is one V2 and few Arillias, though well down the timesheets.

Glossed over the red flag at the end of the side car qualifying and nothing was said about it on the live coverage, they just cut back to the studio. Not that anyone’s out to see blood but surely the crashes are all part of it. The danger and the risk of the TT is what makes it so exciting.

He was referring to the average speed of the lap as an indication of the lap time. They often do that in the U.S. as well, as a higher average speed naturally indicates a faster lap. Just a different way of expressing the performance.
