Great interview! Listening to the show through the years since Helmsley, just as a listener, he has grown as a kinder man, less anger, and friendlier person. Love you all!

I'm not a Christian and never will be, but I can see how important and integral faith is to Helmsey and the rest of the R&B staff and I deeply respect their values and views. Their shared belief gives them a laser focus and direction that I truly envy. I appreciate how genuine they all are about their lives. Well done, gentlemen, and fine editing Adler. Also, Helmsey looks so much like Quagmire from Family Guy it's remarkable. Giggity.

Mr.Tom Fox, wado for your Polite, Decent, Kind and Honest comment. You CHOSE to NOT leave a nasty/filthy/mocking comment. Would you please remember this: Jesus Christ has done nothing to you, Jesus Christ has done everything FOR YOU😊. “For God so loved Tom, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON and if Tom believes in HIM, Tom will not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not HIS SON to condemn Tom, but that through HIM, Tom might be saved.” wado,Ann Benson.

@@danieldawg100Thank you for the kind reply and your witness. Even from a secular world view like mine, the world owes so much to Christ and Christians that to deny the value of faith and belief to the betterment of society is foolish. I do not deny it, indeed, I celebrate it and am the beneficiary of it. A smart fella a long time ago said something like know a tree by its fruits. The fruits in the lives of our six beloved R & B gang are evident, abundant, and good. But it's not for everyone, and it's not for me. But I dislike and refuse to be one of those horrible atheist/agnostics that feels the need to rail against something as overwhelmingly good as the Judeo-Christian framework of American society. Even a 'lost' person will see that there would be no USA without biblical principles. Peace and happiness to you and any who read this.

@@kitsune303 I can appreciate your comments and civility towards those of Faith as well. Wish ALL folks could communicate and express themselves over differences of opinion this way. Just out of curiosity. You stated you are not a Believer and never will be. If I may, could I ask why you have come to this decision for your life? Just interested in your reasoning process to come to this point of view. If you choose not to answer that is fine as well. May God bless you and continue to reveal Himself to you.

@@dimondplar65 Thanks for the note. I tried Christianity on for size back in my twenties, and even wore it around for a few years, but it didn't "take". I earnestly prayed the prayers, read the bible, joined a discipleship group and even went on a short mission trip. I went to church religiously (lol) but after a couple of years I eventually missed a Sunday, then two, read the bible less and less, and eventually became an entirely secular person. I came to the belief that when I prayed, I was talking to myself and when I read the bible, I was just reading human wisdom. I am too much like my biblical namesake - the apostle Thomas - who needed to put his fingers in Jesus' wounds. But unlike Thomas, I've never had the revelation he experienced. I truly envy people of faith and the purpose and direction they experience from their faith. I see the fruits of their faith in their lives. But despite trying to find faith I have not been successful. In six plus decades of life, I've not experienced anything to make me believe that there is anything beyond this world. Once I did not exist, now I exist, and soon I will return to not existing. Peace to you and thanks for your thoughts.

Helms is definitely a great addition to the team! Really adds a lot to the show. Love his story of finding his place. Love that he always knows his facts but also has a great sense of humor. Truly a God blessing to him & the team! Best radio show EVER!

Helms is a wonderful member of the team! So helpful and such a nice guy. Helped me through the torture of carpool with periscope carpool years ago! Great interview and keep up the good work on the show (kick off and regular)👏🏻

"Not familiar", a polite way of saying "not a fan"😂😂 You know even locally here, for so many years, nobody gave the Rick & Bubba show much consideration, so I don't entirely blame Michael. Once you "get familiar" with the show though, you realize it may very well be one of the best shows in the country.

The Kickoff Hour was such a good decision. Helmsley and the rest of the Good Time Gang are awesome!!!!

As good as they all are together, Speedy, Greg and Michael do have a separate dynamic. You hear and see things during the Kick Off Hour you don't during the main show. It's like two different shows, but it all works together.

Is helms hair just cut too short on the side, or is he old and grey? Or..... Or did he cut it short on the side because he wants to feel young? I’m confused...
