Try not to be so hard on your work Brae. The fact you are still sharing your work and taking us on your adventures is pretty admirable, especially for us perfectionist!

The Brae x Tuck and Robin video that we’ve been waiting on for YEARS! So good man. The looney tunes ass splash on the 2nd plunge was good lol. Great job documenting the beauty and ruggedness of the trail.

It would also be super interesting if you have the ability to print from the dark room whether the Velvia colours look better printed from the negative, rather than scanned digitally

I really get the perfectionism. It gets me for over 10 years now already. Its hard to make fresh/new work and be happy with it. Beautiful locations which you should enjoy despite the final images as well. I wish I lived in your location, would leave to the mountains every weekend haha. I love slide, but the moment I dont look at my images with a slightly warm projector light but scanned on a screen I kinda think they suck, always. Slide is really meant to keep analog IMO. Btw. the sound on your drinking and eating parts is kinda intenste, just saying XD.

Wow - Velvia at blue hour is gutsy. High risk high reward, well done. Btw you inspired me to fly to Utah this weekend to do some solo hiking with my Mamiya 6 (50mm is magnificent). I have some Velvia and Portra 800 in the bag (never shot landscapes on P800 before but yours always look awesome.) Cheers!

Incredible place! I thought the photos you made at the very highest elevation were exceptional. I so much enjoy the videos you make, rather than the endless stream of "Sony just loaned me this new thing!" gear review videos that completely saturate this platform. You live in a beautiful place. I hope you enjoy making this kind of content enough to want to keep doing it. ✌

(15:50) A split - ND filter would be of tremendous help there. However, given that you did NOT used an SLR camera, that could create a whole new set of problems 🤣
@BraeHunziker4 ай бұрын
Haha yeah that's the bummer with the Mamiya. Although I've read about a method that allows you to use split NDs on rangefinders. Just haven't set my camera up for it yet...
