The interior is spetacular, I sometimes miss it a lot, I live in Lisbon for 33 years now but my life started in Castelo Branco, everytime i go there 3 things are crucial to my life, because that part of the interior is more moutain terreain, you can have amazing view of the horizon, I mean sometimes I spend time to see in a certain point all around and you can see like more than 30 to 40 or more Kms all around with several layers of valeys, moutains, like you were in a big crater of earth, the second thing is the raw nature of it all because it is with Alentejo the less populated region, so not to many constructions but amazing nature to see and feel but the roads are amazing with good highways and such, and third is your are like on top of Portugal this are the highest regions with the highest being "serra da estrela" so the air is very clean and smells fresh , there is someting about it I its not just an impression, i had respiratory problems and sometimes in Lisbon something is not on par with this interior region, immediatly I could feel everytime I go there that I get more strength and more deep air breathing, you get ealthier with that air, it makes you sleep better, feel the power of nature be more lucid. well lengthy comment, but I end just to say, i watched a lot of or Videos and I like the easy way you walk in life, like some little details you make in some videos , like the maps and giving some history descriptions , they are very different from general youtube videos for sure.

Thanks Nick! What beautiful scenery! I arrive in Lisbon on Sunday, Feb. 5th, then on to Porto...with day trips to Sintra, Cascais, the sea, Braga. Your videos arrived just in time.
