Love the look and end result, but why does DTF have to have a "papery" feel to it ?

Cause its a toner (powder ink)that sits on top of the garment. DTG and Dye Sub is ink (liquid) so it bonds to the fibers and basically cooked into the fibers. DTF is still better than white toner printers which my understanding those feel even more papery.

They converted the sawgrass sublimation printer to DTF and sell from Big money.

LOL. The "sawgrass sublimation printer" is actually a Mutoh inkjet printer. Sawgrass took it and made it a sublimation printer and sold it for big money.
