Excited about the new ETFs based in Ireland. I currently own Avantis ETFs but as a Brazilian resident I will definitely migrate them to their Irish counterparts for tax optimization

Amazing episode as always. I do invest both in Avantis and Dimensional for diversification, I started investing a few months before the value gap in US was as it widest. I hope to gain that premium both by low returns in large caps or greater ones in value tilts, sooner or later.

I hope they list on the London Stock Exchange 🤞🤞🤞 Great news though. Sounds like there will be a similar tilt to AVUS and AVDE (US ETF), this includes mega caps but tilts towards mid and small cap value by 25%. Hopefully the third fund will be a Global Small Cap Value Fund, couldn't quite make that out though 🤞

I will add (incase there is someone from Avantis reading this). VVAL (closed in 2019 ish, Vanguard value listed UK) was the most popular factor fund out of the 4 others. It reached around 200 million in AUM (not sure about currency £/$) and this was even after a terrible run for value vs growth. I can see Avantis gathering more than this :)

are the avantis funds long/short a factor? I think in UCITS shorting is not allowed. But I´m not sure.
