Lol we know exactly what Yunli will do and it’s just a stronger, more aggressive Clara. To me, this just means Yunli is less desirable if you already Clara. They don’t support one another and you’d have to invest in building a new character from scratch. But if you lack Clara and/or a Phys dps, Yunli is a decent option

But for people who do have Clara, I think the reason to pull depends on whether you want to build a new character or are comfortable with who you have already. That’s the primarily pro/con question I see.

Not really, they provide different buffs after all sparkle provide free turns and dmg increase different type. Meanwhile clara and yunli got the same kit, path, type the only difference is the dmg yunli does since it is slightly better.

according to the leak, Yunli ultimate will have her switch stance to enhanced her Counter damage, so all of her kits are basically Clara on crack, which means that if hoyo decided to add another planar or relic that is tailored for Yunli that very same planar would be able to be used on clara as well.

Wow, what a video to make after getting E2 of Clara from losing my 50/50 in Firefly's banner. Clara is honestly my MVP at this point. She's my only 5 star Destruction DPS, I tried getting other DPS to replace her but I keep losing the 50/50. This just leaves me with no choice but to use Clara as my damage dealer. I tried building her, got her signature LC from the standard banner, paired her with her best supports (Tingyun, Robin or Sparkle) and she still couldn't beat MOC 12... Yeah, the past 3 MOCs stage 12 made me use Clara. I used her against Aventurine and now I'm using her on the current MOC against Argenti. She still deals somewhat decent damage but it's hard to clear the stage within 5 cycles when you have a Standard 5 star unit with high investment. I really can't retire Clara unless I get Yunli and if I get Yunli, it'd be really poetic. Clara was my only Destruction DPS and she can finally be replaced by another Destruction DPS who works pretty much the same way but even better.

Clara/Topaz/Robin/Fu Xuan (no Aventurine sadge) has been one of my favorite teams for hardmode SU, and also fairly useful in MoC (even getting me my first 36/36). Sadly Yunli is clearly made to powercreep Clara, her LC does seem Bis for Clara though, it makes me wonder if Clara with Eidolons will outperform E0 Yunli, which would still be good since at least Clara is a permanent character

I am so mad that they just blatantly copy paste Clara kit and make it stronger. I feel like it was a missed oportunity to have them work together but sadly unless you have E6 Clara or they change her kit to synergize with her in the beta thid is just the most blatant example of powercreep in Hsr. And I mean in powercreep that yunli does what Clara does just better unlike other units that have notable diffences in their kit to make them stand apart from each other. I am still going to be a Clara main (whose e4 I got recently) through and through and I'll be pulling Yunli LC assuming they don't change it because they might just do that to bully Clara even more. The only thing I can at least be happy about is that thr next MoC/AS might be favorable towards her because of their kit overlap. That is the one flaw in this design they can't really make Yunli look good wothout also making Clara look good unless they find a way to especially screw Clara over.

This just makes me sad since i recently lost the 50/50 for firefly and now have an e2 clara, i even have her lightcone. Now clara just reminds me of every single time i lost: when i wanted fu xuan for the first time, clara. When i wanted a himeko for the release of pure fiction, lightcone. When i wanted a DAMN ACHERON, clara. And now for firefly... clara... This game just doesnt want to give me a good dps. Yea i have black swan and kafka for dots and dr.ratio,robin and sw for follow up but some content just doesnt fit these teams

Hoyo knows how well Clara holds on to being decent despite being "old". Thats why they specifically try to kill her by releasing a badly designed unit next patch which is basically Clara but better. There is nothing unique about Yunli...she is just Clara but better. I hate it. I will only go for her LC for my Clara! 🎉

Only in AoE/blast enemy attack Scenario or if you have Clara E6. Otherwise they compete for taunt value. Worse than that yunli has a taunt which means Clara will never get attacked when Yunli casts her ultimate. You could imagine a scenario with tingyun and ERR rope Clara making it so she still has uptime on hernultimate for most of Yunli's taunt but this might be copium. My Clara is currently E4 and she is my main. I can already get her e5 from standart 300 choice that I am hoarding until I get a himeko or I get e5 Clara from 50 50 and I will get Yunli LC for her so long as they don't change it.

They lose damage potential in a single target scenario. If their main form of damage comes from their counter then wouldn’t you want them to get hit as much as possible? It’s better to have just one and have them be the only character to get focused on (for maximum output) instead of splitting that difference between two characters who are trying to achieve the same thing and the potential of screwing the other one over.

Yunli being the same counter att playstyle is gonna be mid too. The counter archetype is flawed because u rely on enemies hitting u and u gotta be slow too but the advantage is that they won't die easily because they are tanky hypercarries. The one boss that counters them is the Penocony DoT wine glass robot. It doesn't hit them, just applying DoT as dmg. They also don't have very high CC immunity so some form of cleanse is needed, especially Clara. Yunli only resist CC when u use her ult at right time.

Yunli's kit seems to be less RNG reliant and more damage based on the leaks. Her Ult makes her enter a Parry State which boost her Crit Damage, Effect Res and Taunts all enemies. If attacked she does an extremelly Powerful Sword Slam counter and if not when the Parry ends she still does a slightly less Powerful Swordslam with her next Ult's Counter being guaranteed to be the Stronger one.

This is the utterly most ridiculous video on Clara I have seen yet. Clara does NOT WORK with FUA comps. She works well with robin, but NOT FUA. Adventurine does not benefit output at all in Clara comps, and Topaz is a mere 25% increase in enhanced counter output IF the ult hits the numby target, or 12.5% if it hits adjacent. The non enhanced counters only hit the numby target once in every 5 counters. That's a measly 10% increase in output for the non enhanced counters. Your Clara is hitting wet noodles here. With a proper hypercarry comp, Clara does between 200-300k ouput per enhanced counter, and 100-150k per normal counter. The ideal Clara team would be: Sparkle, Clara, Robin, Huohuo. For sustainless it would be: Clara, Robin, Sparkle, Tingyun. In that order. Topaz is literally THE WORST support you could use with Clara.

@@cinnamaricat sparkle gives ~90cv, 48dmg%, 20% atk, and psuedo 160 spd. All at a 100% uptime. (which is a far higher amp than topaz's average of 15% output amp) The only reason you think sparkle = bad is because you listened to people telling you that clara loses her taunt value buff after she acts twice. That was 1.0 advice. Not 2.0. That was pure misinformation. The psuedo 160 spd clara makes it such that she gains 2-3 turns per cycle, which is 60-90 energy per cycle. This improves her overall output due to having far more ults. Each ult also resets the taunt value buff timer. FYI, I test clara with all competitively viable supports. I know what I'm talking about.

You should take into account the added FuA frequency on top the damage bonus that Robin and Topaz will provide (which is still huge). Clara has one of the biggest FuA frequency in the game, which can turn Topaz into a FuA machine gun, Aventurine will also attack more with her, and Robin will boost their damage even further

Looks like someone does not know Clara/Svarog's Skill also deal damage too.... and Sparkle's Advance Forward and her Crit dmg buff lingering before their next action, makes Clara/Svarog compete with the other Speedy AF Hypercarries. Since you arent always "relying" on Clara/Svarog's Enhanced FUA as their "primary source of damage". Like why even wait for enemies' turn, when you can simply just kill them or even break their bars for that extra physical break and bleed first...if they still survive then press that Burst.
