It is possible if you ask me but you will gonna need a computer in game on the radar so it knows where is the plane in space as xyz co-ordinates by vector algebra (big maths possible by the new logic block) by subtracting the present co-ordinates from the past co-ordinates we can get the distance it travelled dividing by time( which is possible to get) .We can get its speed then we can calculate its future location can be and shoot the missile in the general direction then missile should take over (which is the same way a real life missile works)

i made a radar back before all the fancy logic updates, and it worked in an APS syistem. it automaticlly fired wherever it saw somthing. it kept spinning and there where 4 guns on each corner, and it fired the one in the direction it saw somthing in. it shot down custom missiles very consistantly.

3:05 , I had a submarine with aiming torpedos that worked (the hinges stayed is place) but I am not sure how I did it. I Just know that it is possible and if you spend enough time trying new stuff, you will eventually get it to work

Maybe you could make it only semi autonomous by manually controlling the radar to look in the general direction of an aircraft, then using the system you are working on to “lock on” to the aircraft afterwards

4:27 using a nor gate to trigger the hinges may work or set it's default angle to be whatever or put a or gate where you have input on it (on toggle) set the output to whatever needed even it got rest you can activate again to by pressing the input

also you dont need a seat for rc. look into piston and sensor rc glitching
