This took infinitely too long, but I finally added the jet in this video to the Trailmakers workshop!!! Its called "I Am Speed 3000 MPH Stunt Jet" Thank you to all of you who gave suggestions for what to name it, I wanted to choose one of them but I couldnt choose from them, so thats why I went with a simple name. How to increase speed: -Add more engines -Reduce drag -ADD MORE ENGINES

In some cases adding more engines is worse with the really small 1 by 1 by 2 engines they weigh so much that in a lot of cases the added thrust isnt worth it because of how much weight is added

The piston glitch is more likely to succeed with small things getting mashed together instead of big things. If the second set of engines fails to retract properly, try breaking it into several smaller engine banks that each retract on their own piston. Also make sure that there are no places where two moving pieces are retracting into the same spot as each other.

The x-15 (i believe that was the jet) could go beyond mach 5 irl. The reason no one knows about it is because it was a parasite jet and was simply jet "how fast can we go"

@@Breadsoft1911 Oh yeah, I love the x-15! That's actually what I was referencing when I was saying the jet went about mach 4 and was faster than any confirmed jet in real life that flew with purpose, aside from just going as fast as possible lol

BTW normal blocks have more "drag" than grid blocks normal have red arrows and grid have yellow so normal are better for the no drag glitch

thanks dude, but this primarily works on very very small jets like the one in ur video im wondering can u do one for bigger planes or just explain why bigger planes dont go as fast

I can absolutely try to! The real question is though, how big are you talking? Since there's a big difference between a big ol cargo plane at like 650 complexity, and a medium sized jet with like 400 complexity

@@blazeshadow2.0 ​ 700 medium small jet is what I am basing my statement on, but I think it just might be because not every part is nodragged due to how much stuff is compacted together and therefore some stuff cant be nodragged, and MAYBE because the plane has a bigger weight to thrust ratio. Thanks for your response, it is absoloutely ur own choice if u wanna make more videos about this topic, although I think this video covered basically everything :D

@@cwypto4488 Ooh yeah that definitely is bigger lol, and yeah that probably is it, it's a lot harder and takes a lot more complexity to fully zero drag bigger planes, especially when they have a lot of space on the inside if it's a really big one. It definitely could be the thrust to weight ratio too, yeah, since with fully zero dragging something it really does come down to thrust to weight more than anything else (to my understanding at least) and as for whether I'll make more videos about it, I'll definitely try with some bigger planes and see if I figure out any other methods to talk about! And also I'll probably end up making more videos about speed over time anyway since I love making things go stupidly fast in this game lol
