An Wushu - Sanda Training Session April 2018

Hi Guys,
This Sanda session was a special tribute to John Trisstram (Triss) who came to China in 2017, with no Kungfu experience at all. 54 year old Triss said he wanted to learn Baji Quan, he heard it was one of the most effective ways for self-defence so he decided to train Kungfu with An JianQiu shifu and his family for one year. Triss was one of the first students at the new school facilities and he was loved for his courage, determination and charm.This video shows Triss very last session at the end of one year training (6 days a week, 5-7 hours a day). No, it was not always easy and neither was it always fun, but you did a spectacularly good job Triss, we wish you all the best and hope to see you again soon! Thanks for inspiring us.

我是中国人，在新加坡，一直想学八极拳，请问哪里可以学呀？ 我专业是英语口译员，政府部门的翻译，也是武术爱好者，跆拳道黑带，泰拳，拳击和柔术都在练习，但是我还是想学习中国传统武术。 可是一直没有机会遇到好的师傅。 希望以后有机会转播中国武术。

@@william7323 At Fort Canning hill some 20 years ago, there are many masters of different forms of Chinese martial arts there, teaching. Unfortunately, they have passed away. I am not sure if there is anyone teaching traditional arts with passion in Singapore any more. Many schools do not have real masters teaching now, and are more commercial than passion nowadays. With your background, you should be able to self teach some forms maybe? I used to watch forms online, and teach myself but I do not have the time now.

there is. i used to do sanda w my shifu but he stopped teaching. theres another school called kwoon san sanda. theres friendlies and competitive competition here at least 3 times a year

Wow, i wish to find a year for this training. Maybe you will be in Germany again? Or do you have written down all your stuff? This Times i write down all the stuff from youtube about Sanda and the Military Sanda, but it is a Lot of work. Greetings from Duisburg Germany

Hello! You are welcome to come for a year any time. We're not sure when An Shifu will visit Germany again, but next year 2021 at the earliest. We don't have any books right now. Hope to see you here in China or in Germany!
